Hello Ken, I am in New York, Hudson Valley. It costs me $500 to open the pool, and $500 to close the pool Our pool season is about 4 months. $100 for weekly service. Thanks to you for sharing your knowledge. I am now able to maintain my pool.

And for watching, to be honest with you, I don’t have any experience with closing down a pool for the winter or opening it in the spring because we just don’t have a need for doing that in my part of Arizona.
@@nunyabitnezz2802 you are correct if the auto fill valve is working properly and you shut it off that is the water supply to that valve. The water level should go down, but there are times due to other circumstances where water will continue to get into the pool but, not through the auto fill valve or the pipe that feeds it. Stay tuned for my next video which will describe other possibilities.

I’m confused. If the auto-fill is working properly and you turn it off, wouldn’t the level go down?
