    can you do strum notes here? i def would get this over something like a scaler if it can do strumming effect notes

      Oafmeall coincidentally I’m just trying to work on a patch that lets you strum with control. But in a mean time you can add Live’s Arpeggiator and tweak it to make it strum the notes.

    Hey, just purchased this. Just wondering how I select a specific key signature? Is that possible? Thanks.

    • @Tune4media
      @Tune4media  4 года назад

      Thank you for purchasing, You can use the 'Transpose' knob to switch to a different key. This is built in a way that all of the chords are mapped to absolute keys, so moving to let's say 'D' major, you'll have to set transpose to +2 semitones and play everything just as you'd play it in the key of 'C'.

      @@Tune4media OK, thanks for the quick reply man. When you say based on the major scale but you can play some chords outside of the major scale by playing the black notes: does this mean there's no option for selecting a minor key sig? Or do I just transpose from C to a #/b note for a minor key sig? Thanks again.

      @@phantom_him since both Major and Minor scales are in the same system (the Diatonic System) the Minor scale is contained within this major scale. for example, in C major, the relative minor is A minor, if you base your playing around the root of the note A, you will play the minor 'version' of C major, which is A minor. Black notes like G# add some harmonic functions that fit minor scales better (like a Dominant 7)
      In short, if you call the 6th note 1st - you'll be in the relative minor scale.
      If you feel like you need to get a deeper understanding (very recommended :) )
      lookup for things like: Diatonic-System, Relative-Minor and Modes

      @@Tune4media your device looks great. I have 2 questions for you : 1.Is it possible to set a key different from C (let say D for example) and deactivate the transposing function to be able to play this key on the usual key of the keyboard (D E F# G A B C# for example in the key of D) ? 2. What notes are played as 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th when you play the 5 notes out of the key (for the 1st, I guess it is the note you played )? You are talking about harmonic functions but I would like to know more. Thanks !

    Can I put the scale device before this to stay in key?

    • @Tune4media
      @Tune4media  4 года назад

      This device is already doing this for you. you'll stay in the key just by playing the diatonic notes/white keys. The chromatic notes/black keys are some 'fancy' harmonic functions to substitute some of the diatonic harmony or lead (for example, Eb is leading to E, F# is leading to G, Db is actually leading back to C and Bb to F)
