I give it six months before you buy a store mannequin and an authentic Batman 66 costume. That's the only logical next step. Great review video, hope you had a wicked time in the Graciest of Lands dude 😎🤘🙏
NECA Quarter scale like you have here are very nice. Some of their smaller figures do have issues with paint and stuck joints for sure, but if you heat them they are generally fine. I used to collect their toon TMNT line before moving onto to Super 7's line and I still buy some of those figures and kept a few. I wish we would get a smaller scale of this Batman though that wasn't McFarland. Great find!!!
It’s been mentioned but I want to second the idea that a doll stand is a good idea with this one. A friend had his shelf-dive and it broke into pieces on the floor. Mine has been fine for years since I use a stand and am careful with posing. Even standing firm, without a stand, the weight of these can make them eventually fall. Glad you got one! I love mine.
I’m glad you got you one of those Dean! I saw that a few years ago and I wanted it, but at the time there was a space issue, with nowhere to put it. I have a few NECA figures, all in 7 inch scale, but I know about the quality issue, I nearly broke my original Predator figure getting it out of package. I also have a really cool figure of the Misfits fiend in his black robe, that seems like more attention to quality was made… hope you’ve had a great weekend brother and take care!
I have this figure too Dean and it’s great. Bought it out of the box and never found any problems with breakages, though it does tend to fall over a lot!
That is a beast Dean, but looks awesome. Glad you were able to secure him & also show it off to us. Looking forward to seeing what Robin has to offer down the road as well.
Ive heard about NECA rep too but i have hundreds of them and never had a break. All figure lines with a ton of joints will have stiff joints and will require heat some of the time. It happens because of changes in temperature and pressure while being transported from overseas via boat. Now this Batman figure is also very old or at least getting up there so it only makes sense that the joints are going to be more likely to freezing up. The only joints Ive ever broken were with some Marvel Legends and they’re the gold standard. I think NECA also made a 6-7” scale 1966 Batman at some point, too. I recall i got a Michael Keaton at TRU when they still around and I think I found West either on the same day or around that time. I saw. 66 Batmobile in a plastic model aisle the other day. I think the body is diecast and you attach it to the rsr. They also had a Hot Wheels sized slot car Batmobile that was clamshellef and there’s a slot car track system that was 66 themed. I saw all of that in a store chain called Hobby Lobby. I think the track set was a few years ago and was pricey even back then at over $100 US but the slot car is sometimes available.
Judging by the date this video was uploaded, I have a feeling that this is the same one I competed for before you outbid me. Congratulations! I ended up buying one for $300.00 about a week later along with a Robin for $250.00.
I ordered it. When I saw how big it really was, realized I couldn’t hide it from my wife, promptly took the damn thing to the post office and returned it. Glad to see it ended up in good hands 😅😅. (kidding).
I have nine NECA figures and have never had an issue with joints or limbs breaking. Have had a couple accessories break, knife for a Michael Myers and the mini gun for the T2 Arnold figure. The T2 Arnold doesn't like to stand up even using a stand and after falling multple times the mini gun finally broke.
I purchased my first Neca figure this week, an 8-inch Predator 2 city hunter which I'm quite happy with. I'm in the process of owning my tallest figure which is the Fan Home self-assembly Iron Man mark 3 figure which will proudly stand at 30cm tall
I hope you accept this as a compliment it is meant to be. Sitting there next to that awesome Adam West Batman you bear striking resemblance Neil Hamilton aka Commissioner Gordon. Back in his prime Neil Hamilton was quite the dashing young actor.
Yeah those Neca figures you really have to treat with kid gloves as they can get stiff limb joints, but overall they are great display pieces. If you are looking to put him in a detolf, you can remove a shelf for higher stuff, that is what I do. Awesome auction score mate. Cheers👍🏻🍻🦇
I have some NECA mainly Aliens. All have to be on stands because they won’t stand up on their own. One leg is usually longer than the other and the leg and ankle joints get loose soon after they are taken out of the package. NECA has great sculpts and paint but quality control on the construction sucks
I've got the batman and robin in that scale , if the articulation is stuck use lube , it works , they are great figures but very heavy and more delicate than you would think .
Don't ask how I found that out , the things you get when you get dragged to an Anne summers shop with your Mrs lol, seriously though it's brilliant ,Ive used it on figures that were stuck solid for whatever reason, just put some into the joints of the figure ,leave it for 30 mins and the job is done , wipe the excess away and you are good to go , it doesn't negatively affect the stability of the joints either ,they don't become loose or anything .
If it had broken send it back to the seller without the packaging , biggest scam on ebay as seller would obviously not accept it and Ebay would automatically refund you . Perfect scam and the Seller loses out

HAHAHAHA. Thanks
Figure looks good , using a doll stand is probably a good idea to keep him from falling over.
Emblem on chest only LOOKS like a sticker but it’s molded and has printed details :)
OK, the outline is molded but that's definitely a sticker on there.

Neca did release a 7” version of this figure around the same time. More of a “secondary market” kind of thing, these days, though.
Knocking it out of the park as usual Dean. Great video. 👍👍👍👍
This Batman and Robin would look awesome in the wall climbing pose!

Neca usually does a pretty good job on the detail on figures.

doll display stands mate they fit the bill i have some of these 18 inch figures
That is a beast Dean, but looks awesome. Glad you were able to secure him & also show it off to us. Looking forward to seeing what Robin has to offer down the road as well.
Don't know if it was Kaiser Bill's originally, but it sure did make me whistle!

Saw a gentleman who built a 1/4 scale batmobile and bat-boat to display his Batman and Robin. Massive...

Great figure. I have this one and the smaller NECA figure as well.
Nice. I just got the Robin in this scale but I'm still looking for the 7" Batman.
Wow that is one very big batman looks good glad it went ok for you
I have a Neca 1/4 Deadpool and Bilbo Baggins, and they're awesome.
Nice addition. Still not bad.

Thanks for the tip. I don't own any Detolfs yet, but it's good to know that you can remove shelves to accommodate these huge figures.

IS A GREAT FIGURE BUT I SUGGEST FOUND A STAND BASE FOR THE FIGURE ! TRUST ME I HAVE 5 1/4 SCALE FIRGURES FROM NECA AND ALWAS GOING DOWN!

Doesn't the first 'batarang' serve as the grappling hook whereas the second batarang is a Batarang?
Could be. Both are identical aside from the fact that one of them folds.
Hi good video please do not buy any pre-order from eBay you will have a big Chance of scam
Not sure if u saw UT TARGET IS ALREADY RELEASING MR FREEZE 66!!!! GOT PICTURES
Also Batcycle and Villains Lair is up for pre Order

You're gonna need a bigger place if you want start collecting figures of that size.
Well, aside from the Robin I have ordered, this will definitely be the last figure of this size I get.
