Big Robot Wars fan too, such a shame the reboot series never took off big as it was filmed close to me so I was able to be at a bunch of live shows which is a completely different experience from sitting at home - you really get to appreciate the size and power of these machines!

Yeah this new guy has no chemistry with Chris. And his reactions sound forced and disingenuous. Kenny was fun to have as he'd throw in little quips after Chris was done with his play by plays. This new guy keeps talking over him attempting to also read off the plays. He needs to learn his place.
I was surprised the vote was so heavily in favor of TS xD We know it hits HARD! But it can't take to much of a hit itself and it also tends to do worse against vertical spinners~
Tombstone is a true all-star but the the technology of most of the bits in the top 20 or so has evolved to the point where bits are either prepared specifically to deal with TS via armor. Or simply their increased speed and maneuverability means the single strat of pretend to miss then swing doesn't work or the hits are glances not smashes.
I don't understand why discovery channel doesn't jump on having battlebots a continuous show. This show is awesome. Always excited to see battlebots. Thank you for providing this to your fans

I miss ORBY Blade and want to see it return too! ORBY is my favorite international team and the robot itself was my favorite to come out of Season 6. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL machine with a team full of genuinely amazing and wonderful people behind it, they deserve a second chance! 😄💛🇰🇷🍌🥕

What a set of legendary robot warriors! WOW! As a long time fan of robot combat, I gotta say this was a great example of the best the sport has to offer! Brutal slugfests, quick kills, smoke and fire and metal everywhere! Special shoutout to Hydra, too. In a world increasingly populated by ever more powerful spinners, Hydra's continued evolution as the premier flipper/launcher threat provides crucial variety and keeps things more interesting and entertaining for the audience. Team Hydra might be a villain, but they're a villain I appreciate! 😅
I knew Hypershock was the winner going in, but it certainly wasn't easy. With how much the competition has caught up with Tombstone in recent years, it's easy to forget that it still hits hard, and even when it loses, it's opponent rarely comes out unscathed. My favourite fight? Honesty? The bonus fight. Seeing Malice work the way it should, it gives us some truly tasty damage.
Ray has apparently redesigned Tombstone to eliminate whatever issue was causing the fires in recent years. Given that's been the cause of most of their losses, other builders should be afraid!
It's great that it made it to RUclips! Sometimes new commentators need a bit of time to settle in and find their style. Hopefully, he'll get more comfortable over time and add a better flow to the videos.
Okay, first I will say thank you for airing this after 2 years, you could’ve just forgotten about it but you didn’t, and for that we are greatful! With that being said, at 14:20 there’s a huge editing error that spoils the outcome of the next two fights. Considering this took 2 years to come out, that’s beyond unacceptable. Did no one check before uploading this?? Pretty dissapointing tbh, but am always thankful for Battlebots content at the end of the day
ooh dang someone must've mis-named the clip files... but with Cobalt being the closer one in that particular shot, it's a quick-enough cut that it's not quite so noticeable unless you rewatch it.

It's fantastic to finally get to see these fights. I'd say my favorite was Hypershock vs. Tombstone. That fight had a few great hits at the start, and then became an odd, comedic fight with some amusing commentary as Tombstone hid in its own smoke screen. Congratulations to Alex Bales on beating three powerful opponents during her first time driving Hypershock in battle, and getting the giant bolt to celebrate that! Now, please Discovery, please renew Battlebots for a new season! And if you still won't listen, can another network please pick them up so we can see robot combat on TV again?
This was a great show. Loved that we got a full fight night condensed into a half hour package. Only thing I'd like to see would be a second followup video in a 'post game' show/interview with the teams and their hardware.
