How did he pull out the bulb? Did he turn it counter clockwise or did he just pull it out? And also.. for the driver side, do I need to remove the fuse box to replace that bulb? Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍🏻
@@josea1531 you need to turn it. I can't remember 100% which way but I think you are right in that it's counterclockwise. The drivers side is tight quarters but I was able to get it out without removing anything extra. If memory serves, once you've turned the bulb so it can be pulled out, you need to slightly angle the bulb after you've started pulling it out so that the existing space is sufficient.
@@brewersfan2112 haha can't believe you actually replied. Thanks! I really appreciate it. Changed out the bulbs today. Passenger side took me like 2mins. Driver side, like 2hrs and about to go crazy. Yeah, you turn it counter clockwise. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to completely turn the one on the driver side all the way to the locking position if it even has one. It probably needed about 3/16 more of a twist to completely lock in. But still, it feels snug. I'm gonna check it in about a week. I was reading the description of the new bulb and it says it last about 200hrs. I drive about 45mins at night five days a week. That means they should last about a year. Seems way less than the original lasting 6yrs.
This was the only video I could find for the projector headlamps. Worked like a charm. Thanks!
