I'm also from California and am planning to take my daughter to Universal Orlando and Disney World. I really enjoyed this series. Thank you for sharing!
Just finished watching your Disney world videos today & definitely worth the watch! I don’t have the means to go there right now & have never been, so I felt like I was on vacation with you guys! Thanks for sharing Traver & family! 😃
I’m sad because I feel like my vacation is ending but I am so happy you took me along with your family! Can’t wait to see you all back at home in Disneyland! 🏰
Watched all videos of your Orlando trip til the end. I wanted to say thank you to you and amy for all your disneyland videos, we got back from our first time disneyland and universal hollywood trip, and everything went magical because of all the planning i did from purely watching almost everything in your chanel. Thank you very much!!! Now im post disney blues, but continuing to watch your new videos is like my therapy!😂😂 thank you!!!!
I waited every 2 days for your uploads. It really has felt like you took me with you on this trip. Thanks so much for posting, I’m learning for our trip to both DL and WDW this Oct/nov 😊
Reserve is the best! We do that all the time but it’s especially handy for our Mco to Cali trips since we fly out at 5am and have a short window to get through to the gate.
Thank you Traver & fam for letting us tag along. What a great trip! It has been fun waiting for the next “Disney Day” video to drop. This inspired us to get our next Disneyland visit on the books 😂
So my family just discovered yours when we were looking at vids to get ready for upcoming DL trip... and WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!! We have watched everything you've put out in the last few months and it's been so great to get us in the Disneyland mood! This will be our family's 3rd time, and every year when it's vacation planning time, it always comes back to Disney! We would love to run into you in the parks, so hopefully you will all be around sometime the first week of August! 😉
I did MCO Reserve my last trip and it was great! They walked us right up to the front of the line. We also had arrived a little early to the airport and I was able to change my time to an earlier reservation. Would definitely recommend. We arrive at DL on Friday for our first trip ever! Hope to see you in the parks!
Really enjoyed the whole Disneyworld video series! Thank you! Would love to see a follow-up video with your takeaways and insights about the Disneyworld trip now that you're back. My family is watching your Disneyland series of videos for a future trip we're planning. The videos are really helpful.
Same! I felt sad watching your last day video, as if I was on vacation too lol! Especially with a Disney trip! My family and I had a great time watching your trip vlog with the family, and I hope you guys had a great time as well! It was a wonderful trip, and thank you for all the details! Looking forward to the next trip!
We also have two boys and they are just older than yours (9 and 12), but it makes me so nostalgic to see your kiddos and reminds me of my boys when they were younger with their reactions and first times doing things. We love the skyliner as well and on our last WDW trip our sons both spent their own money on the same yeti and figment plushes! Thanks for sharing.
Have you rode Soarin’ at Disneyland on both the left and right screens? The first time we went, they sent us to the screen on the left and it was super clear and good quality but then we went again earlier this year and were sent to the screen on the right and it seemed to be much darker and harder to see. Also we have some bday cards sending out on Friday!
What a great trip! Thanks for all the tips and food reviews! I'm waiting to go to WDW sometime at the end of the year.. so all these videos are very helpful! Maybe I'll see your family again in July when I come back to Disneyland!
I'm definitely feeling the post-travel blues. It was great to accompany you on this trip to WDW. I'm planning my next one for 2025 and I'm considering doing a Disney cruise line. Do you think about going on a Disney cruise?
Watching your animal kingdom videos makes me realize how much me and my family missed the last time we went. We will have to go again to experience more 😊
We enjoy watching all your videos! Your family is adorable and we feel like we get to visit disney along with you. Thank you for all the tips and tricks! We just bought a big container of POG at Costco, we had to try it after seeing your videos 😅
The last day is so sad! I am planning to hit a park on our flight home day...Likely Magic Kingdom. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us! These videos are the best!
I really enjoyed binging on your WDW series these past few days! I went there in 1989 and 1992 as a kid, and I'm hoping to take my family in 2026. We've been to Disneyland several times and once to Tokyo Disney. Next year we're going to Disneyland Paris.
I have really enjoyed your videos and thank you for bringing us along on your trip! I did honestly get confused watching because I watch from two different accounts. My personal account via my laptop or tablet when I am out and about, and our family account at home. I would watch and think "this seems familiar" but continue on just to later realize I did in fact see a particular video. haha! I have never been to WDW and have considered what parks I would visit if I did. Honestly, between you guys and the Provost Park Pass channel, I want to see Animal Kingdom. It looks so beautiful and peaceful compared to the others.
Aloha, I don't care how many days are out of sync, I enjoy your videos. It's kind of my vacation (I can have a few minutes to breath) as you walk through and show us the parks, love the comments and love to see the family. Also loved the shirt Aimee (Amy) was wearing in the park. (i.e Waikiki) So many things have changed in 5 years. planning for May 2025. I don't know which airlines you flew on, Delta really tries hard to keep families together, that being said, I was kicked off my flight because they changed the plane and it had a different seat format which didn't include my row number. (so the computer decided to route me through Seattle. instead of my direct flight to LAX from Hawaii) Safe Journeys home.
Trever, Amy and kids, my family and I have binged a bunch of your videos to prepare for our trip. We just came back from Disneyland and DCA and my son kept saying “So Cal Dad said to try… So Cal Dad recommends….” and your advice never disappointed! We’ll continue watching your videos for family entertainment! Thank you!
Loved the vlogs Disney World is my home park so it was great seeing how your trip was! Completely get the feeling of trying to fit in all the different park planning into the next couple years.
Loved watching your family on this Disney World trip! Could you and Amy do a video talking about what essentials to bring to Disney World? Asking as a Californian who’s planning on visiting Florida for the first time !
Really enjoyed your trip report! Looking back, is there anything you would’ve done differently? On our trip in March I wished we had done a day at Volcano Bay or Sea World instead of the third day at Universal/IOA. With Express pass we got everything done so quickly that our third day seemed pretty repetitive there.
We probably wouldn’t have done USF. We felt like that was a bit of a waste of a day. ET and Gringott’s were the only things we truly wanted to do that day, and neither were worth losing a WDW day to it. We enjoyed Villain Con and Men in Black, as well as the Bourne show, so it wasn’t a total wash. But if we were to plan another Orlando trip again immediately for next year, we’d opt to leave out USF and only do IOA. Which means we’d likely also avoid the whole split stay situation. And I think we’d stay at Pop Century the whole time. While I generally have enjoyed Caribbean Beach in the past, the bus situation both this time and our previous visit are making me reconsider, when the busses at Pop Century were much more accommodating and it had more updated rooms at half the cost.
Hahahahaha so many questions! Yep, it’s hard to decide. For us it was Disneyland last year, this year it’ll be DW but next year we still haven’t decided yet… Loved the whole series, amazing trip. Your videos are so relatable and that’s why everyone loves them! Thank you once again and keep it up!
If you purchased via the Disneyland website, and selected your parks and dates, then yes, the reservation is automatically made. You can see your current reservations here: disneyland.disney.go.com/experience-updates/park-reservations/
It really is hard to say as you can absolutely cut and skimp just about everywhere. We spent close to $10,000 on this vacation, but we stayed deluxe at Universal and moderate the second half of Disney. You could stay value to save money. We could have saved $2,000 by cutting Universal out of the trip entirely. We had a sit down meal on every WDW day, and one of them was crazy expensive. You could eat all quick service or even make your own lunches if you stay off property at an Air BnB. And that’s not even talking about going fewer days which will save money all around. If you’d like someone to price out a vacation for you, call Get Away Today and let them know I sent you and someone will be able to provide a tier of options from the absolute cheapest possible way to go up to a more involved and splurge type trip. I bet we could have done this for $6,000 if we cut Universal, stayed at Pop the whole time, and ate only Quick Service. That $6,000 includes flights, which was $2,000 of the total cost. As for the days themselves, we averaged $200/day in food, except the second Magic Kingdom day. Ohana alone cost us $200.
Hey Disney dad happy Monday ❤happy belated Father’s Day to you enjoy your day ur amazing ur the best stay cool it’s gonna be hot 🥵 this summer god bless u
Traver always appreciate the videos was just curious if you though some of the wait queues that have more interactive elements in them like snow whites or test track cause the lines to be longer?? do you prefer these types of queues for entertainment purposes
They might temporarily/artificially extend the queue, but in general, guests will keep moving when the line moves and the interactive elements usually are not near the actual ride vehicle, so it doesn't delay the actual boarding process. Meaning after the interactive elements end, the line stagnates normally. So any delay is to the crowd BEFORE those elements and it'll all even out by the end. Those interactive elements then allow guests to be entertained in line, so I like them.
If I were you, I'd wait to go to Disneyland Paris untill they open the Frozen area in the second park. Now the second park is only a half-day park imo, but I heared and saw good things about the part they are about to open (in a year? Maybe 2?) We likes your videos about Disneyland when we were preparing to go there last April and loved to watch (all of 😉) the videos of WDW, since we're going there in a month. Thank you for the informative and enjoying videos!
@@SoCalDisneyDad and if you have time to visit some other things in (kind of) that area in Europe, I recommand Pairi Daiza, a beautiful zoo where you can sleep in a room with a view to the tigers, polar bears or other animals in Belgium. And Efteling, a beautiful themepark with rollercoasters, darkrides and a fairytale forest (I've heared rumors even Walt has visited this themepark in the 50's) in the Netherlands. They have hotels and cabins as well if you like to stay nereby (operated by Efteling and other hotels). I think Pairi Daiza is a 3 hour drive from Disneyland Paris and Efteling is about 4 and a half hour drive from Disneyland Paris. Enjoy preparing your trips for the upcoming vacations!
They only put those out after we had left (on May 25th), sadly. They also weren’t ice cream like I wanted (and many many others as I’ve seen on the internet), so those that have gotten it have been slightly disappointed it wasn’t ice cream.
I feel like my vacation is ending! Kind of sad lol. Loved this whole series. Thanks for taking us on your trip!
Me too. I am getting the post holiday blues and I didn’t even go anywhere!😅
Lol i share the same sentiments!

Well, I just bindged and watched your last 3 DW vlogs. And I could've watched more. What a great vacation. I'm always trying to plan my next one.
Go on a Disney cruise/walt Disney world combo vacation ! I live for those videos!
We've thought about a Land & Sea package before. I'm just not sure I could only handle like 4 days in WDW. 😂

Ahhh frozen chai's are SO good Amy!

Traver do they have a Plaza Inn in Disney world.
It’s called Plaza Restaurant there and it’s a sit down location, as opposed to quick service.
