Do you have what it takes to own your own general contracting company? In my opinion is comes down to how willing are you to do the work that no one else want's to do to run a successful business. Obviously there's is something that happens everyday on the jobsite we have to step up and do because no one else will. But, what about when no one is watching? Late at night, when you have to send out billing, payroll, estimating a job, taxes, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on. Are you willing to sacrifice weekends, gatherings and much more to ensure your business succeeds? Doing the work that sucks is critical when operating a successful construction company.
