- This time we are going to rehouse some very cute bugs! Does it go well? Is it complete failure? You'll have to watch and see!
You wont want to miss seeing the world most adorable spider, the velvet spider along with some very cute tarantulas and a couple orchid mantis!

@@SlightlyVenomous my dad saw a praying mantis stuck on the screen of his door and called me over to help. and he gave her some water on a leaf. she put her foot on my finger as to say thank you and left. such a sweet baby

I would love to see more about the velvet spiders. I have a sling. I don’t know what I’m doing 😂😂😂it’s soooooo tiny! I never see it because it’s burrowed. It’s like I have a box of dirt as a pet. I only know a spider is in there because of the little bit of webbing and flies sometimes disappear when I drop them in. But I never see it! How can you tell if they’re male or female? Can’t find any information on that . ☺️

How long did it take the velvet spider to grow to that size? Spraying their enclosure can kill them. They get their moisture/water from their pray.
Where did you get those larger plastic square enclosure with the feeding flap? I have some of those super small ones you were rehousing from. Your spiders are so fat! Good eaters :)
I save the containers that spiders come in after they outgrow them and reuse them with other spiders. hand me down houses haha🥰

@@SlightlyVenomous fear of bad injury if they fall some fall and are same while ones like a wolf could die
@@benstrubbe3533 oh yes that’s why I keep the tarantulas close to the ground. the velvet spider I’m careful with but she is equipped for climbing and has a catch line of webbing to protect her if anything were to happen. I would never handle over a hard surface though. I have a very fluffy rug below.

Do not mist your Eresus/velvet spiders, huge no no. They should be bone dry and get all their moisture from their food. I have 12, 6 species. I’m in UK and feel lucky they are available to me right now. You poor peeps in the US struggling to source them.
