I laughed at the spider story. In Florida the bugs here are ginormous. It took a long time to get used to that. Tracey, when we lived in CT we had a "framed wooden door" outside that we walked under when we walked into the yard (Hope this makes sense.) I was walking through it one day, after work and didn't notice the spider web. That is until I walked into it. It was on my face and in my hair. EEEEEWWWWW!!!!! But I didn't get bit, or see a spider.

@@donnahageman6289 Very true. The first time I ever saw one it FLEW by me when I was outside. It was the size of Texas and I wasn't sure if it was a bird or a plane. :) Then I discovered those cute little tree frogs or peepers. They are smaller than a Palmetto bug, and cute.

You missed the Riley Blake “Heart of Christmas” panel that was included in the Christmas Wishes collection. It is ADORABLE! It’s a secular piece, with lots of dogs and a few cats hidden in a few spots. You have to check it out. It is the best panel of the collection, in my opinion.

Your spider story cracked me up while also creeping me out! Back in the 70s after a tropical storm in Virginia I had a nest of spiders in the dash of my VW bug!!! They were crawling all over the inside of my car. I somehow drove to an exterminator company and they bug bombed my car for me. It was a first for them.

My grasshopper story. When I was a teen, our cat had kittens. We kept one of them, and she was not the smartest or bravest kitty. Momma cat was a huntress, so she was not impressed with the lack of skills in her baby. So to give baby practice, Momma caught grasshoppers carried them inside and then let them loose for kitten to practice catching. Instead us kids had to catch them and relocate them back outside. 🤦‍♀️

We adopted a spider at Girl Scout camp; named her Sydney and caught bugs to put on her web at the shelter in our unit by the lake. Very few mosquitoes got by her! I took spiders out of my classroom on sheets of paper but I don’t want to have one drop or crawl on me! 🕷️

The way you feel about spiders, I feel about ticks. I did see the thousands of babees come running off a dead momma spider. Horror movie time. I hate praying mantis. But the absolute worst is Florida palmetto bugs. Also known as American cockroaches. They fly ! And stick to you.
