Quick shout out to JJ Watt. Didn't even celebrate that strip sack fumble recovery. Immediately took off his helmet and checked on Baker. Miss him big time in Houston. Still one of my favorite players no matter where he is.

Refs sucked the life out of the browns in the first quarter. Stupid penalties to the tune of 6-8 almost consecutively that are ticky tacky calls. I don’t think the browns had a single turnover at that point but had a 20-0 deficit. Free points for the opposition! Just like the TWO FREE 2nd Half TD’s the chargers got in anti- browns refball Rhetoric in New Charger City.

This cardinals team reminds me of the 18-19 chiefs. With a talented qb and stacked offensive team. If they keep working on their defense they are the biggest contender this season.

My family moved to AZ from St. Louis in 1960 so I've got a long history of bitter disappointment with the oldest team in the league so I'm Sssoooo excited to see the birds doing so great!!!! It's early in the season but my fingers are crossed and they are earning respect from teams and players around the league and that's a great START! Go Cards!

Absolutely. Imo, Larry probably should've just ran to the sideline. Then Arizona could run the clock and kick an easy FG to ice the game. And that D collapse on the final drive was legendarily bad. But I will say, Santonio Holmes became one of my favorite players after that drive. I've never seen someone take control of a drive like he did
@@RB01.10 I lost sleep for a long time over the 'event that shall not be named.' Back in the days of Bill Bidwell, things were terrible. One year we won a wild card playoff game in Dallas (1997), but we knew the Vikings would torch us (In which they did). It's just been a lot of disappointment so it's nice to finally be excited about our team. Thanks for chiming in!

1st: 1922 (Chicago Cardinals)
2nd: 1974 (St. Louis Cardinals)
The 1922 cardinals were also playing in a league with like, 8 teams though
I'm an Eagles Fan, but I remember the Cardinals from the 70's with Jim Hart, Terry Metcalf, Dan Dierdorf, Conrad Dobler, Mel Gray. I think they won the Eastern Division in '75. Great Teams they had then.
Fun Fact: the Cardinals are the oldest franchise in the NFL. They started before the NFL, in Chicago in 1898. Crazy, but true. They have been really awful most of the time, but of late they are doing well.

You forgot to list all of the Browns that were out. It's more.
to be fair the Browns are just as banged up with key guys that are out on offense. But the Cards just play a kind of offense where their run game is shifty as hell along with Kyler's ability to be elusive in and out of the pocket. Their pass game structure is nothing spectacular but it helps to have talent like Hopkins, AJ Green and now Zach Ertz who can catch and make plays. Kirk is also improving as deep threat receiver along with Edmonds and Moore as dump off options. Its coming together for Kyler's 3rd year and everyone in the skilled position role is trying to overachieve.

Larry is still signed with the cardinals but he's taking personal time off since he's been playing football every year since his freshman year of high school. Right now I think he hasn't announced retirement because he signed a 1 year contract so he's still making money. Plus he's not even on their depth chart.

From an Eagles fan, this Cardinals team looks like a juggernaut, and they're going to love the addition of Ertz. They've smoked the Titans, Rams, and Browns, all on the road. I like the Cardinals. They have allot of great players on their team that deserve a ring. However, don’t fall for it. Ravens went 14-2, looked unstoppable and went one and done in the playoffs. It took Lamar another year afterwards to win his first playoff game. Steelers went 11-0, and got exposed in the playoffs. Russell Wilson plays the start of every year like he’s going to win MVP, and then shits the bed. So, congrats to the Cardinals, but one game at a time. Dont look ahead.

In the back of my mind this is what I keep thinking for our Cards this year. The Steelers situation in your example however is at the moment t very opposite and the on bright spot. Steeler’s played an easy schedule nearly the entire regular season (hence the term “exposed”).

I still don’t know how the cardinals snagged number 4 Moore out of Purdue in the draft. Their offense is just unfair with him on it, dudes a legit next evolution of football player the way he accelerates and changed direction. Tyreek hill yet smoother and more polished.

Arizona has done some good work behind the scenes. Put together a great mix of veterans and young players. That D line is ferocious. If that defense stays healthy, they're gonna be tough in the post season.

I've been a Cards fan since I was a kid. My Mom and Dad were Cards fans since they were in St. Louis. I can remember Lance Allworth quarterback when I was a kid.
This has been one of the most exciting nfl seasons we've had in a long time and I thank God for that every day. 💪

Can we take a min to appreciate the most underrated player on this team, James Conner is an absolute beast. He’s been an outstanding finisher, first guy never tackles him. He only get like 15 touches and there never easy schemed up plays like Edmonds gets. But he beasts it on every play.
No head coach, who also happens to be the offensive coordinator, missing our Center, tight end, and most of our defensive front. This was a STATEMENT.
Cards are good but you cant act like the browns arent missing half their team. Plus having Kingsbury out is a good thing.

@@newagain9964 The browns best running back and receiver were out plus Odell and hunt got hurt and so did baker. Our offensive line was also banged up. I’m not making excuses but that’s a crazy hit to this team.
This game also reminded me of the Wild Card game between the Browns and Steelers where the Browns didn’t have their coaches and won decisively.

I was at this game and Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are for real. There was nothing The Browns could do to contain him. The dude is way faster than he looks.
I will say this, as a Browns fan I respect the way Arizona put it on us. Even at full strength I don't think we beat them. I'm happy for AJ Green and Watt so they can finally experience some success. I think they are the team to beat this year. I wanted JJ Watt to sign with us so bad in the off season not so much for what he could do on the field but what he brings to a team. That strip sack was beautiful what was even more beautiful is that his first concern was to see if our quarterback was okay 100% class act
