I've got the same Ultrasonic Cleaner. Was $5.00 from Goodwill, brand new! Mega score. I use it for everything, jewelry, firearm parts, car parts. On warning. DO NOT PUT A MECHANICAL WATCH IN AN ULTRASONIC CLEANER. Remove the band and put it in by itself and it works wonders. Putting the entire watch in will result in many problems, maybe not at first, but trust me, I've seen the damage it can do to the seals and movements. It's a heavy duty machine and use it as such.

Good tip on the watches. For instance what solution do you use for pistol parts? Like for a firing pin, barrel etc? Thanks

For the sake of skin safety tho dishwashing liquid is probably a better option

Hey Cuba. I bought a bigger ultrasonic cleaner because I have a huge 18k 20mm 21 in 755 g Miami Cuban link chain. It has a metal basket. I was just wondering if my chain will get scratched because of the metal basket. But then again I’m thinking that 755g chain won’t move around in the ultrasonic. What do u think. 👍👊💪

Exactly what I’ve been doing for years! Except I mix my soap in a measuring glass first. Just like it fully mixed up first rather than waiting for the machine to do it. Absolutely nothing brightens up jewelry by actually getting it clean like dawn!!!

Have you done it multiple times on gold plating? I recently got a set from Jaxxon and haven't put it in there like my solid gold because i thought it would hurt the plating because of the heating.

I clean my diamond rings and pendants every week with one but the solution I use in the ultrasonic is an ammonia and water mix.
You gotta be a little careful with gemstones and ultrasound.. If Your stone has small imperfections these can create cracks over time..I have some 2.5ct Black diamond studs and a 3.5ct Black diamond Gypsy ring and use my ultrasonic regular on these without issue and Black Diamonds are MORE susceptible to issues too..settings wise, as long as they ain't pressure set or glued you should be fine

I have the same exact cleaner for my jewelry. All my pieces are 18k. I do t wear mine too often just for special occasions so it depends how much you wear your stuff I clean mine about every 2 1/2 weeks

In any ultrasonic cleaner, the water or solution should be vigorously vibrating and it will be more than obvious when it is turned on.
That one is obviously not working correctly or not working very well brother.
You just soaked your jewelry in soapy hot water. There was no ultrasonic cleaning effect.

I use a foam cutting pad and aluminum polish not a single scratch anywhere.

This is good for cleaning watches or intricate stuff for a Cuban you just need soapy water and a soft toothbrush ...
Ultrasonic are not meant for mechanical watches. They will damage the movement.
You can take the bracelet off and clean the bracelet part alone though.
Man I got this exact same ultrasonic and mannn it works incredible BUT I just put my Cuban from Daniel jewelry with the diamond button in there today and opened to check things out and realized my diamond was MISSING 🥲 it was in the machine still tho so idk if maybe it shook it loose or the diamond wasn’t set well or what but thank god for insurance I guess..
