Great to be sending love for another Minami song. IMO, She’s up there in the same league as the other top vocalists from Japan.
One of the best
Record of Ragnarok is about the gods (all of them from all pantheons around the world) deciding to wipe out humanity, but they hold a tournament of fights to the death between gods and historical/mythical humans to decide whether they'll go through with it. The video clip of the song has nothing to do with the anime, by the way, except that there's also a similar fighting tournament depicted.
Show is about tournament of humans vs. gods for survival of mankind. And animation is totally different.

Minami performs the second opening theme of Record of Ragnarok. The first opening is performed by Maximum The Hormone with their song "KAMIGAMI". You should react to the TV versions of both openings.
The animation was for the song and not the anime, it's its own self contained story told over the course of the song.
For the show the animation that plays is completely different.
The MV and the anime do have similarities

I saw the word "Ragnarok" and thought this was The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar which its not thankfully because Blesser of Einherjar is a garbage anime
