When customers see my wedding ring they ask how can my husband let me work in a bar. I just say .. um because he’s not insecure 😂
Or he just doesn't care
Or just say that he doesn’t let you do anything, you are your own person.
That’s just a suggestion.
@@spartangoku7610 suggestion?! That should be a reality, a fact. Women are humans too, hubbies have no right to decide how their wives are going to live .
@@SRBOMBONICA86 or he knows it's not his place to decide her future or to treat her like a little kid who can't make the right decisions.
@@reno8494 yeah, I kind of understate things sometimes.
You have the right idea.
I was at a bar and the guy asked the bartender for her number, and she says "I dont have a phone." A cellphone behind the bar rings and she answers it. The guy again asks for her number and said "I told you I havent got a cellphone." While shes on her cellphone
So what? She was uncomfortable
A power move
@@anissahenrichs6149 I think the op praises the bartender. They're saying how sassy she is
Nightmare Eclipse what a legend
*answering multiple cellphones* ah no, I dont have a cellphone dude, drop it
‘Carling Darling’
I’m a waitress and 99%of our staff are female, a guy asked to see the manager and when she went over he said ‘no a male manager, I don’t need you getting hysterical’.
we really live in the 1900s huh
so there are a 100+ waiters at your workplace
thomas lunøe what? Where did you get that?
@@thomaslune7591 You don't get basic math huh? Or exaggeration? Go to school.
I hope she muttered “you’re barred” and skipped away
The black girl with the braids has the most gorgeous skin! I'm so jealous.
Ikrr
@jim taylor like you?
And the most gorgeous hair too
Jim Taylor I’m pretty sure you’re the equivalent of a dumpster
Kendall gaming hey, thats not nice. Dont insult dumpsters
I've had all this plus being touched or grabbed by men while working. They feel somehow entitled to do it. One of my managers once told me to "go with it, it helps sales". I wasn't there for long.
Screw that manager and those people! Good thing you left!
Im glad youre out of the enviornment if it was that bad, and Im sorry you had to deal with it
Great thing you left. When those things are allowed to happen worse things may happen in the future. Hopefully any other women that work there will soon leave.
Seriously? I’m so sorry. I’m a guy and I will never do that. Women aren’t objects you can just lay your hands on!

Once, I was hired to bartend at this FUNERAL AFTER PARTY. I actually didn't know what the occasion was before I agreed to work. People went around the room, one by one, saying what they will miss about the person who passed away. Then a man comes up to me and rudely says, "Well you didn't have much say. "
I said, ".... I'm sorry for your loss, but I did not know them. " Then he proceeds to say, "that's fucking rude of you." then walks away from the bar....
it's really rude that you just didn't know the person.
Wow
Wow what a @ss
I don't understand people like that lol. Like I have family I've never even met and when I say so everyone freaks out
Why would anyone do a funeral after party, wth
"That's expensive" or complaining about the price absolutely enrages me. It's NOT my fault what the prices are lol.
Well, I guess that's not only a bartending thing. I am a professional mortician and sell items (urns, coffins..) as well as service to people. There are always customers who complain about certain prizes or about having to pay for the service at all. Stupid idiots are everywhere.
Yeah like if I was the one setting prices I wouldn’t be here bartending now, would I?
Jim Taylor
You’re a sensitive one aren’t you?
Jim Taylor it’s not that easy
Always felt as if some people were trying to build rapport about moaning about the prices; dunno what to say other than "yeah you're getting ripped off, shouldn't have come to Chester racecourse"
"give us a smile love" that phrase gives me chills, in my first job they fired me because I was not as "nice" as they wanted, I NEVER treated anyone badly, in fact people gave me tips and they never complained about the way I treated them but they said that I did not smile enough and they said that I did not have the character because I did not go out to dance with them (the owners) later, I went to work not to animate their bar
"Can I have your number?"
"No."

i'm a bartender and my god, this video is spot on

Things not to say to musicians
Things not to say to teachers
Things not to say to psychologists
No, why?
@@mangolima1664 teacher one already exists
Really? I'll go and watch it. Thanks!
they already did the teachers one
How about just not talking with anyone at all. That's the safest I guess
I bet I've heard worse lolol how about "how are your lips? And Im not asking about the ones on your face."
😱😱😱😱
it'sa me asarah t ew omg
Just say "it will bite back"
its not a contest but im so sorry that's disgusting
🤢🤢
Can we just talk about how gorgeous all the girls in the video are
that's a full ass lie only some of them were and by some I mean like three
Not all of them (my opinion)
@@MissedBandwagon Especially not 0:19
Doing the same that they complain about the video? Nice idea
The Asian one is the funniest.
what about : things not to say to people with ptsd or anxiety, or who cant work due to arthritis?
Is it really necessary to use the premiere feature for a video that will air in two days from now?
Seen so many RUclips channels and even RUclipsr's doing that feature for such trivial content that is so short to even premiere, what are they thinking?
l a b y r i n t h
This feels like it could be for all female retail workers though - seriously not bar staff but I've heard all this in my retail work too - and ps I love my job for the same reasons as these ladies - its just the knobheads that rude it

I'm glad this series is back. I'm looking forward to the video.
Can you do one about “what service dog handlers are tired of hearing”?
"Do things not to say to school dropout"
Or
"Do things not to say to pregnant teens"
Or "do things not say to smart people"
Please 😀
Simon Takyie lol I afraid if they did a smart people one
Random people will start commenting being like ‘omg so relatable 😩😩😩’
When a customer says "if I were (insert year)s younger" like, no mate, you'd still be 30 years too old 😂
Not gonna lie, the brunette in the red sweater is adorable
ikr she looks like victoria justice
Happy they finally brung this series back the only reason I subbed to this channel
Could you do one for skin conditions? I’ve had pretty bad eczema since I was really little and some of the comments I get include 1) people trying to sympathize and tell you they know what it’s like because of this one little spot they get on their ankle every January, 2) people trying to give you miracle cures all the time 3) telling you it’s gross (or refusing to shake your hand or otherwise touching you), 4)people telling you that just a bit more moisturizing is all you need, 5)having you skin condition completely dismissed when you’re talking about it but don’t currently have a flare up so you look fine
Just a few things to start, anyone else relate?
I'm very thankful that I nowadays only get the small spot on my ankle variety (actually, that's exactly where it is now), but I used to have terrible eczema as a child. Like "clothing sticking to my skin because I had scratched until I bled" bad. And I know that some people have it even worse. People often don't realize how painful it can be, or how maddening the itch. I've got told so many times to just stop scratching. Meanwhile my sister had it so bad she would scratch herself in her sleep.
No. 1 thing not to say:
*How you doin'?* ~Joey
I had weird pick up line from a client ' I like your hands ' then the next day 'Remember i said i like your hands. can you play a piano for me?'
I dont even think thats a pickup line I think they just wanted to hear a piano. Still weird tho
You guys should do Things not to say to people with eczema
they should
"What happened to your skin!?" said in absolute horror.
It should be obvious I have some sort of skin condition and it should also be obvious that it's rude to point it out. I'm already self conscious about it, I don't need strangers inquiring.
Also, comparing it's texture to scales on a reptile.
Oml Genius
@@echostorm1996 asking if it's contagious -_-
please make more of these!!!
I have CHRONIC RBF and when I work on a bar, people were always telling me to cheer up, or if I'm okay and I had 1 or 2 girls say "I love how miserable you are" 🙄 🔫
I love this series. These are hilarious!
Hashanah no
MY FAVORITE TYPE OF VIDEO!
The worst thing is that you CANNOT reply/report customers saying any of this stuff, your manager will just tell you you've gotta sell sell sell sell
Personal experience.
hell yeah! it's back!
New season? Can't wait!!!
As much as it can be annoying to work behind a bar, I have to say it has made me a stronger person. Working in a sports club, it’s surrounded by men and guys. There is little women and most of the women are actual bartenders such as myself. Dealing with drunk guys makes me so much of a more resilient and sociable person. It was intimidating at first but you get used to it.
What hit home for me was when it was give us a smile and the lass said I could have lost someone my grandma could have died....and you are telling me to smile.
That's exactly what happened to me. My grandma died on new years eve 2018 and I still came in to work that evening and I tried my best and did my job as needed and and one guy who was obviously drunk I served him and he said give us a smile who died??? 😱😱😱 mortified.....but i told him my grandmother this afternoon and he thought I was joking and started laughing, I then said why you laughing she died today......that shut him up
I'm relatively ignorant of cocktails, so I usually wait for a lull to ask a bartender what they recommend based on the spirit (usually whiskey). Otherwise I frantically blurt out the first beer I recognize on tap when asked what I want. That's anxiety for ya.
That “give us a smile love” 😒😒 so annoying an it’s a long day For real!

Common theme in these videos: people are way too nosy about other people’s sex lives.
I hate RUclips’s premiere features
The "yohoo" reminded me of Frozen's Oaken Sauna scene haha
they dont have one on ADHD.... i know they have some of my other problems like dyslexia, depression, and dangerous dogs, but I was really hoping for some ADHD peeps
I feel ur pain ladies! This vids So accurate & a giggle
How this got more dislike than likes, it's not even aired yet? Daaaannmmmm
Because we already know that it's going to be some feminist bullshit
Because sensitive boys in the comment section are assuming that the video is going to be attacking people like themselves😂 honestly both male and female bartenders have people say the dumbest and most disrespectful shit to them. I know from experience. It happens when you serve people, whether it’s in a bar, restaurant etc etc. It’s just a bit worse in a bar since a lot of people are under the influence of booze and other shit🤷♀️
The hating is clearly strong tonight.
They reset the dislikes
Bc men have to deal with absolutely every one of these things.
Is BBC becoming buzz feed?
This is BBC Three, it’s always been like this. It’s similar to Buzzfeed’s Blue.
BuzzFeed broadcast corporation
I was gonna say this. Glad im not the only one. Whats worse is the 2 bob bit journalists think buzzfeed is the height of journalism for the 20 somethings who have made this shite. I lie, whats worse is license payers paying for this crap. Disgraceful.
Lori Rose too late
Ah darn, basic decency is too liberal now too?
Just remember that most people in a bar are usually going to be drunk
2:34 OMG YES!! I work at a racecourse so I get a lot of loves, treacles, darlings and dears
Finally!
My mum co owed a pup with my dad and his friend I used to help this happened all the time

”things not to say to people who sneak peas into cakes”
Having someone whistle at me and click their fingers at me like I’m a dog is the most annoying.

Wow I was really shocked when I watched this. I had no idea that these disgusting things happen so often😂
Things not to say to some with bpd
3:07 Do I flick it? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pretty sure drinking on the job is fireable or I think illegal
I think I was quite lucky in that I only ever bartended in 'local' pubs where I became friends with the regulars and they'd look out for me.
I was lucky enough to remember when we had 'local' pubs and barmaids having banter with the regulars was all part of the job. From time to time the line might get crossed but as you say, the regulars would soon step in
Number 1: "Hello"
“I’ll have a pint of lager and your number.”
Me:” Oh I’m sorry we don’t sell that.”
Same. "sorry, it's not on the menu"
Just give them the number of a person you hate.
Why did you re-upload this video 3 times?
Could you guys do things not to say to people with antisocial personality disorder?
As a woman who's worked in MANY categories, I've heard, "smile.", or, "you'd be prettier if you'd smile.", in EVERY one of them.",(ONLY from men) & you have NO IDEA how many times I wanted to punch that man!! Always when I wasn't addressing customers, & just trying to work, but these men always felt like they had to comment, & the remark has the OPPOSITE effect, bc it just pisses you off
"What's your real job?" I think some men see it as a job but not THE job. That's probably what they mean by that question
Wasn’t this uploaded days ago
Glad this series is back
I used to be a bartender in a pub and I remember being asked for my number and I would say no cos I have a boyfriend, but then they would ask me again as if I had memory loss or something lol
Why does this fucking start at 6am? I need enough time to wake up😢
‘can I get a drink?’
I love the girls accent
"congrats on finding them" oh Lord I'm using that one in the future 😂😂
the girl in the red sweater looks like clara from doctor who. thats trippy
They should make what not to say to Canadians
Reupload?
Who’s the lass with the long hair and red top? Defo a fellow Geordie
This is why we need self service bars, or a bartending machine.
The girl in the red reminds me of Clara from dw anyone else
Worst one: ‘does your boyfriend approve of you doing this job?’
Can you please do a video on dyspraxia
Yasss
How are you meant to respond to comments like that, WITHOUT getting fired, I’m starting a bartending job soon and need some advice😂😂
Walk away, tell management.
Or, personal favourite, use their shitty pickup line against them
@@IckleBloo thanks, it's going well so far not TOO many weirdos :D
One of them looks like the you tuber @sophielouise😂😂
My mother was a bartender and mixologist for awhile and the hilarious sage bit of word she gave me from her experience is, "Men always think a female bartender is more attractive because she's fully clothed and they can let their imagination run wild. So trust me, you don't need revealing clothes to attract attention. It's like a good horror movie. The less you show, the more they imagine. Put it off until the right time."
They are not fully clothed why do you think they are harassed so much
Well I've waved my money whether it's male or female but only because as a short woman standing next to tall people I get forgotten about, I'll be waiting 10 minutes, sometimes not that busy and a tall guy will come along and get served straight away because 1. He's tall enough to notice and 2. He had his money out waving it about. It pissed me off so much so I'll shout "excuse me I haven't been served yet and I've been waiting longer than those you just served" still half the time i still don't get noticed so I'll wave my money like the guys and finally get served.
“Hi”
Things not to say to women with autism/ Aspergers !!
The 'Give Us A Smile' is one of the worst. No, not because I'm a snowflake (snowflakes melt at nearly everything, just because I don't like this doesn't make me fragile). My friend's husband always says that "give us a smile, you look beautiful tonight'. I said "I notice you don't say that to the male bartenders."
I've been kissed twice on the bar by guys grabbing my face and going give us a kiss... like guys handle your beer man I dont wanna kiss you I'm just here to work
Things not to say to someone with ADHD please!
The video isn’t even here, but people are already making vacuous comments. Oy vey🙄🥵
