Ah, the very first Within Temptation song I ever heard. I recently saw them live in NYC and they were freakin' AMAZING!! I love Sharon's voice. So beautiful! Awesome band!
Within Temptation, Evanescence, and Nightwish are my all time favorite bands that have a female front/singer. I like them all for different things, but Sharon den Adel's voice is petrifying yet totally awesome!

I've watched some of their other videos and can't get into them. However, I love practically all their songs. If not for the Sims 2 version of this video someone created I would likely not have discovered WT... They are in my book the best band ever!
I only wish they'd reupload this video in the 1080p it could be today, versus the 240p back in 2010. This video is art as well as the song - it deserves a quality video rendering.

Found this song ages ago. I was watching a Final Fantasy AMV that used this song. I swear this song feels mythical. Its hard to explain but it feels like I can relate while also feeling the full brunt tragedy of the songs point. I think I owe that to the music. The vocalist adds a weird angelic mix too. Hahaha I aint the best at explaining feelings but Id say this is close.

There is a demon who poses as a pastor, he uses his appearance as a kind man to lure young woman to his house where he kills them and buries them in the desert. One day he finds another young woman (you'll notice she was dropped off on purpose as if waiting for him) and tries to do his usual scheme. He thinks he has killed her and brings her to his burial site, but only then does he realize she was an angel giving him one last chance...she ends his reign and saves the souls of his victims.
I actually really do love this video, especially the twist with the band being vigilante angels and getting rid of the demon-man. Kind of makes me wish they did a follow-up video for it.

I'm not sure how to define Mother Earth lol), then symphonic metal, and now their latest CD has the 80s 'arena rock' feel thrown in with metal, techno beats and pop. They've never been afraid to experiment; instead of sticking to a genre that worked for them, they took risks and evolved their music. Not only do they have talent; they have integrity.
who cares both her and Amy are both extremely talented and unbelievably beautiful. The world is better because of them and we could always use more girls like them. My hats off to the hot rocker girls you're awesome!
Yes you are completely right about that. I really love Sharon's voice for that fact though it just sounds so pure and angelic. I think if she had a larger range and was constantly using it say like Christina Aguilera it would ruin the effect her songs give.
