What I did the other day was I took a sheet of paper and I drew out multiple colorful butterflies and then I scanned that paper to my email and then opened up the document in my email and printed it out onto edible paper, multiple times. Conversely, if someone is really lazy like I always am lol, you could also just copy and paste images of butterflies that you find online and copy and paste them onto a Word document and then print that out on edible paper. But I like how you took the time to make these by hand.
Very pretty cake, the blue better flies really stand out nicely! I have never worked with wafer paper, thanks for the tips.they will come in handy if I ever want to give it a try😉🎂
Thank you! I like wafer paper for anything that involved feathers or wings although there is new modem cake trend on social media that uses it with mixed mediums that id like to figure out ❤️
Last time I used the butterflies for my buttercream cake, they curled and moved their positions after a while which I think it was because of absorbing the moisture, do you have any tips for it?!

I love the butterflies. So glad you found a system that worked so the wafer paper did not crumble.
Thank you! Yes it was a bit of trial and error but I’ve leaned to appreciate powdered food coloring ❤️
