All I know how to do anymore is play Fiendsmith, it's been so long. I don't know what yugioh is anymore. The other day, I activated lubellion and tried to add a light fiend. Everything has become a Beatrice combo to me. There are no other decks, no monster types other than fiends. The only spell I know how to activate is Fiendsmith Tractus. Occasionally I summon high wave king instead, and I cry a little. I attack for game but wish I was being gamed instead. It's become a joke of sorts, or maybe it's just my life. I can't go anywhere without seeing animals on fire. I went to feed my dog the other night, but instead of eating she added Tractus and Lurrie to her hand. I had to put her down. I sit in the corner now counting down the days, the days where we shall see sweet release from this torment, the day when yugioh was about two players having a special bond and actually interacting. Those days are long gone. I have seen God, and I have seen the devil, but they are one and the same. I stared into the abyss and screamed, and it screamed back: "activate sequentia"

Fiendsmith tribute is cost. Then he didnt control that monster anymore
It can actually negate monster that tribute for cost cause they controlled it when it was activated. It’s a weird ruling and when I started playing this deck I also wondered if it can negate effects like that and it 100% can!

Yubel seems a lot better at going first than second but that seems to be the format with fiendsmith
Yubel can play really well going second. It's just that too many decks are just too strong going first now in this new format. Some generic cards need to get hit to balance this shit out 😊😊
@@ChickenBoo1989 Yep. at this point it really doesnt matter how strong you are going second. The boards that are built are just way too much for everything.
Thats why people start to main cards like dark ruler.
@TrinityYGO it's what I've chosen to Do as well going into euros this month as well dark ruler is my only way out for going second. Plus other supporting board breakers. Unless we see a ban list drop for next week and we see appo and ip hit. That will hurt a lot of decks power in the meta going first I think. Same with beatrice. But end boards are just too much at the moment when all current decks in the meta end on an appo everytime. Something has to go on the generic level also. Also will you be at euros this month?

in game 1, doesn’t requiem leaving the field because it tributed itself bypass the "a monster your opponent controls" clause in swordknight’s effect to negate?
When it tributes itself, you are controlling it. So it can be negated

@@diomede75 what @joshua14658 wrote is the basis of why if you Veiler/Imperm a Samsara/Requiem and the opponent tributes it, the effect is still negated despite Samsara/Requiem now being in the GY where Veiler/Imperm don't work. It activated thus it will resolve on the field (where it was negated). Meanwhile a card like Skill Drain only applies to monsters that are currently face-up, so as soon as Samsara/Requiem remove themselves from the field to pay their cost, Skill Drain immediately stops applying on them, so they resolve successfully
Hope this helps. BTW Requiem is a Quick effect, so Veiler/Imperm wouldn't work (it can chain after them) but I believe you get the point.
