Hi, I was one of the duplicate community at that time, we managed to sell fast in 1day 8hours before the mods found out we sold it cheaply to be able to keep the original bgl around 22000bgl that were not duplicates were secured, and managed to sell fast Dl at a price of 1dl/$ managed to sell around 18000bgl++, after the server went down 4000+ bgl or (1 stack BGL 4k)were lost in our world safe and there were Catriona mods and in an instant we were all suspended and the world was nuked. the real on our count dup are 160k++ items, for that bgl dupe were got detected by fake bgl same code but that sold many many

i still remember when it happened the summer rollback came and like after few weeks the dupe rollback made a huge problem and people started to panick and pheonix wing was 6dls and trident was 8dls

The video is really awesome, the presentation is pretty much on par with RUclipsrs such as AntVenom in my opinion, and the topic went SO much deeper than I thought. Really sad how these players have found and exploited a bug for a long time before it was finally rolled back.

Growtopia probably have some way of keeping track of the item amount in the game. So he would be found out later anyway

I remember when this happened, I did not even know rollbacks and the glitch at that time. I was farming pinball and other farmables that time and when it rollbacked, I was so angry because i just finished breaking all my farmables and I had to do it again and when i almost finished breaking it, it rollbacked again 😔

Was affected by this recently. Picked up thousands of city blocks, then got perma suspended. I requested for them to unban me, but they rejected it. Lost a 8 year old account + 4 bgls of items.

If i were me, i would use this silently and concealedly with smurf account, each duplication attempts costed one new world hopping (with signal jammer or lv 124 if possible) and without being too reckless (Phoenix wing for 2DL) and age it for couple months to confuse it's origin of duplication for rollback
after that, dress like a pro/pretend-aesthetic and slightly high level (30 ~ 40) to avoid suspicion
sell that duped phoenix wing for normal price once per few days or weeks
like cashing out from DL bank (with counterfeit)
before doing a duplication attempt, do a random daily useless activity on your world to flood moderation / admin log with lots of unnecessary information, concealing the duped stuff
just like australian man discovered an exploit on nab atm where u can get infinite money without getting transaction logged
Phoenix Wing or GHC > 200 DL (or below like slight L trade) > itemku (cheap DL for Real MONEY!!!) for indo "keep gambling!" stereotype
do this indefinite amount of time before it was discovered by another person

my self even experiment the thing, at that time, in 2nd july 2020 i was opening my BFG as normally while there's a duplicate thing around, but after i left the game because the system update (rollback) my fking Magplant were duplicate itself, 2 in backpack & another 2 that were placed on my bfg world, and i sold em.
so the system update was a problem itself, and my duplicated magplant still exist till this day around somewhere,
i bet this isn't just me experiencing this moment because i don't think that time was only me opening bfg.
around that time found 113 wls in a casino link
