Hi Kristina, this card is so beautiful. It seems that all people I follow use only prismacolor pencils, so I'm happy to see you using polychromos!! Thank you for this card!
Gorgeous! I used Prismacolor pencils for over 20 years and recently got these Polychromos pencils and I fell in love! They are not wax based but oil based and their colors are so creamy! Will not be going beck!
Absolutely gorgeous card Kristina! Love the color combo you chose on the the Kraft card base! Your handwriting is so lovely and the words you created for the stamps are really perfect! Thanks for sharing another favorite I want to do!
This card is absolutely delightful Kristina! Gorgeous floral images and stunning coloring with those amazing pencils (NOTE: Mine don't seem to work quite as well!! Maybe I should exchange them for another set....lol). Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have an awesome weekend. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
That is an absolute gorgeous stamp! Andvthe way you chose to use it as a cluster on the desert storm card stock is brilliant. The colors you chose are mesmerizing on both t bff e stamped image and the sentiments. Your talent never ceases to amaze me ❤❤❤
Another stunning card Kristina...love the colors you chose for this piece! Oh, and thanks for the tip regarding stamping on vellum with light pressure.
Lovely card. I'm exploring with different colored pencils. Do you find these colored pencils creamy? I like them when the color is smooth and creamy instead of such a hard lead. Also, what pencil sharpener do you use?
Hi Kristina, I love your beautiful colouring! I was wondering though, what type of sharpener do you use on your pencils? You always have such sharp points on them!!! I have pencil point envy 😂
So lovely! I''m really debating on the Polychromos...I have all of the Prismacolor pencils (so that was a pretty big investment)...but I'm super intrigued with the Polychromos. They seem to have a different effect than the Prismas. What are your thoughts? Absolutely buy them? Or...They are close enough to Prismas that I should spend my money on all the stamps and dies I want? Thank you so much for all you share!
Such a pretty card! Could you please list the sharpener you use? I have the Prismacolor one and also some others and still have trouble with the point breaking in the sharpener. It bothers me to waste so much! Thanks!
If you have Prismacolor pencils, the best sharpener I found to use with those is by General. It's just about the cheapest one out there, but one of the best. It's just the blade, no shavings catcher, so you can really see what you're doing. It's silver in color. You should also sharpen a regular graphite pencil every so often. The Prismas are wax-based, and that wax builds up in the sharpener. Sharpening a regular pencil will get rid of that buildup. If you have the Polychromos like Kristina is using, you should be able to use any sharpener on the market because the color core is bonded to the wood casing in the factory. And because they are oil-based, you can get a really sharp point with them.
it hurts me a little every time you use that Tombow adhesive, because I can not for the life of me get it to work. :( it skips, or the tape part comes undone, and i can't get it back together...I've thrown out two almost full rolls because of this. is there a trick to it?
With paper coming from trees should we be cutting down on the use of paper Crafters working with paper have done more damage to the earth than any other person on the planet. These people have children too but do not care for the planet shame on you all.
