Really amazing doc , I'm about to finished this muscle physiology playlist, and it's my first playlist out of your videos . Which playlist will you recommend for me to start with .Thank you🖖
But i have little question, 1:51 , How we knew the problem is from esophagus if the esophagus also contain skeltal muscle in the upper portion so it could be also increase in troponin levels just like cardiac, wish u to reply
around 10 minutes you say calmodulin is not present in smooth muscles. this seems to be contradicting to other sources that claim that 3 calmodulin dependent enzymes have been recognized in skeletal muscles, and its key role in phosphorylating the MRLC. what are your thoughts?
Slow-wave rhythm is the “background” electrical potential in smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. As for stretch causing contractions (Frank-Starling), it was discussed in previous videos in my “Physiology” playlist.
Doctor i have one question. myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) Cause skeletal muscle contraction, inhibition to this enzyme. cause : Hypotension Dilation of bronchial Diarrhea ? Thank you for your help 🎉
Great video great teacher. Question what would cause the circular smooth muscles to stop work throughout the entire GI trac including bladder but the longitude smooth muscle are working fine plus. The stomach stop working also. Was a healthy 40 male before this happen. That you for your time sir.
Is it possible that a mutation in the myosin light chain kinase gene leading to decreased function of the molecule could lead to excessively relaxed blood vessels that don’t contract properly?

Jesus ! Wat a class it was! Wow man …..
Thank you 🙏
is troponin an anti-contraction? doesnt it facilitate the removal of the trypamyosin from the myosin binding sites during muscle contraction?
You are great! ❤
Thank you 🙏
I have 2 questions
What is slow wave rhythm and how stretch causes visceral smooth muscle contraction?
Slow-wave rhythm is the “background” electrical potential in smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
As for stretch causing contractions (Frank-Starling), it was discussed in previous videos in my “Physiology” playlist.
Doctor i have one question.
myosin light chain kinase
(MLCK) Cause skeletal muscle contraction, inhibition to this enzyme. cause :
Hypotension
Dilation of bronchial
Diarrhea
?
Thank you for your help 🎉
Thanks ❤ from a mum with few time that is trying to survive Medicine 😂
