Seems like a made up propaganda character. Never heard of him and the facts are all different from different sources. No interview or good video of him.
Col Churchill was a friend of my fathers and stayed with us in Brisbane . I was probably about 8 or 9 at the time .. He wrote to me for a number of years after, I of course wrote to him in return. he sent me a painting of himself as the Col Comdt of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He always referred to the English as Sassenachs ( a derogatory Scottish term ) for the English. Also i can remember he remarked in one letter how they were taking the kilts away and having to wear British postman's uniforms. . It was only later in life i learnt he was an Englishman

I think that public knowledge is still in it's infancy and that MadJack's adventures are so much crazier than most fiction that it may be difficult to portray this dude.
@@cadethumann8605, agreed. The vast majority of people would not believe it was real and probably need a bit of education about such people prior to making a film out of nowhere. We are too used to super heroes in films, so while such people do exist in real life, we are unfortunately quick to dismiss them.
Thank you for video. I guess, that he is one of the earliest persons (like Robert Rogers) which gave significant influence on modern S.O., at least for first year training at some units. Does anybody know whether this officer weaponry is connected with proof-of-concept "operation Claymore", or "operation Archery" code names?
They should make a film about this bloke.

@@anderslarsen2311 “I’m really boring, therefore any stories about people who weren’t boring are made up propaganda”
@@anderslarsen2311 lmao look at the picture of him holding the sword mate. it’s not made up
@@anderslarsen2311 damn imagine seeing a war vet talking ab him then you just go to the comment section like “seems like this is made up” 🤓
yes Tom hardy could play mad jack

In a world where the word "legend" is often overused here's a man fully deserving of it. RIP Sir and thank you.
People like him are the reason battles are won
What a badass! I really need to re-think my goals
We all should.
what a madlad
True mad lad who ran around
The man we need
Whay a great man!
I met him when I was 5 years old
What was that like?
There are only two words: Bloody Marvellous!
I'd be scared shitless if I saw someone charging at me playing a bagpipe while wielding a sword and bow n' arrows.
Life is stranger than fiction... I don’t think anyone would believe a movie made about him.
I don't know if you got it but he was also the first man to surf the tidal wave that yearly rips up the Tine river. Hope I spelled that right.
Difficult to find books anywhere on the man. No movie at all. Why haven't the English made a film about this man's life story?

That's what I was thinking!

Brits rarely shout about people like this. They should.
It would be an epic, at least 4 hours long.
