    Rochelle! These videos are amazing!! I just found your channel and am now your newest subscriber as we are planning on moving to the area soon. Are you taking on new clients right now?

      Hi Cindy -- thanks so much for watching & I'm so happy you found the channel 😊 We can certainly schedule a call & see if we'd be a good fit! I did see your email & reply, so sorry these comments were held for review so they didn't pop up in my alerts right away 😅

    We were just there and it looks so much different in real life than in the video. There are no leaves on the trees and the rocks are covered by a sheet of ice.

      Yes - winter at confederation park is a different experience than in the warmer months! One thing that's fun there in the winter is skating on the pond to the east end (by the cricket pitches) Hopefully you're able to visit again in the summer to enjoy the peak season 😊

    Hey great video, any recommendations where to go metal detecting in confederation park? Thanks!

      I’d say anywhere by hutches! Most populated area & people hang out on the beach there which can easily hide items that are left behind/forgotten 🙌🏼 if you find any sentimental items I hope you post to the loc groups to locate the owner ☺️ Good luck!

      Hi! There is are two swimming pools at confederation park - one is Lakeland Pool (run by the City & has a low cost) beside the splash pad (free) & then there is Wild Water Works which is a higher cost but is a water park with wave pool, waterslides, etc.
      I JUST released an episode on all of the beaches in the area (yes you can swim at the beaches in Confederation Park - just check the water quality first which you can do on my website www.genuinerealtor.com/SafeToSwim )
      There are 17 beaches in the area you can check out via the video linked below but the Confederation Park portion begins at 5 min into the episode 😊

    I Have A Question, When Is The Beaches in Hamilton Are Open. If Anyone Can Answer.

    • @TheGenuineRealtors
      @TheGenuineRealtors  4 месяца назад

      Hi there 👋 The beaches are open year-round! Because of the size of the lake, the waters are still dangerously cold (as in hypothermia is a real concern) through Spring. June/July is when they will be warm enough for a longer swim with August & September being the busiest time of year.
      Attractions like the Splashpad, pool, etc will open closer to the May Long weekend, while Adventure Village with miniputt, etc are all open from May to September
      I've covered a lot of the local beaches in this video as well if you were looking for swimming in particular - ruclips.net/video/h2NxKVZ2Ibc/видео.html

      @@renegade77892 All of the regions will test the water quality regularly - the beaches I've covered are in Hamilton Region, Halton Region & Niagara Region... You can find all of their test results from my landing page here: www.genuinerealtor.com/safetoswim
      That said, there are some easy tips... Don't go swimming right after heavy rainfall, don't go swimming if you see any large clouds of algae in the water & always check the water quality before heading out to the beach.
      Lastly, DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS - not only does bread kill them slowly, it also increases the fecal pollutants in the water which creates water pollution & is a huge contributor to unsafe water quality.
      Hope that helps!
