    With all the work I have been doing, that grapple skeleton buck would work quite well in my scenario. What a great way to have a multi use implement that is actually useful.

      Until I tried the rock bucket I had no idea how useful it would be. Then adding the grapple to it has made it one of my favorite attachments.

    I spent most of my day on my new to me skid steer clearing out some brush so I can get to my trees that will eventually (FINALLY) be fed to the sawmill I bought from you!!!

    Lucas, you carry the world record for most brush carried off in a grapple on a BX. I have the same machine with a grapple and you have me beat and I, like you, have challenged this machine to its limits, but you are a notch or two crazier. (In a good way). TYM time!

    Just to let you know that have gone through 5 foot pieces of log to get used to the SM-22. So far it is living up to my expectations. Thanks to your videos it made setup and running the mill a smooth operation. Keep up the tips.

    Passport guy here. Thank you for your video. Looks like a good grapple. I did purchase a Land Pride grapple with the BX, but if I hadn't, I would consider your suggestion as an alternative.

    Lucas , the Fancy Butt Butt Jeans comment got me. I am impressed with the tractor. No use for a rock grappler here S W Louisiana, got some hard clay even the excavator is having a hard time clearing my property. Building infrastructure for my Homestead. Enjoyed the video.

    Lucas you really need at least two grabs on that bucket instead of one in middle and your loads would be much more secure
    So when you get a bigger tractor make sure you get a second grab or a different style of grab

    • @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead
      @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead  День назад

      With the low lift capacity, adding another grapple at the expense of losing more lift is a choice I made and really, the single grapple in the middle does great. I’m sure a second would help to secure loads of brush, but I felt like on this machine it wasn’t worth the trade off. Lift capacity shouldn’t be a concern on the next machine. 👊😊

    Can't you just go to church like that? The Big Guy is not going to mind. I went to my dealer today and bought everything for the 400 hr service. That is $240.00 Canadian. Am at 350 now, so probably in the spring I will hit 400. But winter is coming, and I have a snow blower for the BX23S. I hope I do not have to crawl under it in the winter. Take care Lucas and stay safe.

      When I worked on the road a bit I made a point of visiting different churches. I showed up at Chuck Swindolls church in Texas in shorts and a T Shirt. Let’s just say I was very out of place but everyone was nice. I had never been in a church like that before. 😉

    Try curling your bucket all the way down under your tractor it will help shift the load and make it not so light in the back end.

I've got some fancy butt jeans just like them but only wear them around home I'm 69 years old lol. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun

    As an FYI, theres no real reason to mess with the throttle on an HST. Thats basically only there to get the RPM up when using the rear PTO. Your just burning more fuel than you need to otherwise.

    • @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead
      @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead  День назад

      If I’m understanding what you’re saying, that’s not true on these BXs, maybe on an auto throttle machine, but the BX is much much much slower moving and the loader will barely move up and down at low RPMs. I can get ten times the work done cranking up the throttle and it burns so little fuel, I’ll gladly spend the extra.

    Lol i just bought a 250 saw my husky crapped out and im a husky guy since i worked in the woods a 100 yrs ago. The problem with husky now is to get rid off that stupid primer ya gotta sqeeze 6x. It'll cost ya close to grand up here cause ya go to move up to a pro saw to get rid of it.Its on all their non pro gas saws the primer lets go on the inside of the carb and i was told ya gotta replace the carb well might as well replace the saw.I don't need a 1000 buck saw just something for cleanup is all i need so the 250 fits that bill.
