    Hi Moss.
I use a pair of humbrol cutters for the thick sprue, and Tamiya cutters for the thin attachment points. I've had the Tamiya ones for years and they still serve me well.

I discovered Wisepro. Come in a plastic case with a leather head cover and empty bottle for oil. Single edged. Used for three years now and still cut an 80gsm piece of paper perfectly. I only use for thinner sprue next to parts. Thicker cuts away from parts I do with cheepo modelling starter set cutters which I quickly realised crushed rather than cut the plastic.

Just from the design, the sprue cutters you are showing look very similar to the Dspiae cutters. I have 3 pair of the Dspiae, 2 which cost $85 US dollars and one which was $35 US dollars. I also have 1 pair of Zoukei Mura sprue cutters #3 on the depth chart, I have a number of generic brands for cutting the sprues up for disposal. I am saving to buy a pair of Godhands which I am betting are the same as the Dspiae.
Your sprue cutters look good. I might have a go at them as well.

I have been using a Tamiya fine with rounded back surfaces and recently got me a DSPIAE single edge for a very good rate direct from China. I find the DSPIAE ever so slightly better especially for larger attachment points. I also use my old Xuron and Revell nippers for rough cuts to keep the good nippers sharp. BTW I use my old Swiss very fine nail-skin scissors for PE and they remain sharp still. I can still trim my nails with them easily...🤪😂

TBH I think sprue cutters are a consumable item and the main question is /overall/ cost. For example if a set costs twice as much but /lasts/ four times longer then overall it's half the cost.

@@MOS6510Models I'm in a wheelchair and the standard brakes cost £30 but I had two sets break in a couple of months. The more expensive set I'd had previously (as standard) now cost £60, but had lasted me twenty years, so over time were /much/ cheaper.

Anyway I forgot to post my nippers. I don't have much experience but my two are
      ZM PRO-ZETSU Nipper 35$
Zoukei Mura makes premium model kits and their nipper is premium as well. I've not tried the Godhands but I've seen reviews rating the Pro Zetsu at or even above the Godhand.
      Tamiya Side Cutters for Plastic
Can't go wrong with good old Tamiya. I use these as my beater nippers for tougher jobs to save the more expensive Pro-Zetsu for more detail oriented work.
