    Is there a way to run two harnesses to the same Supergun? And what is a harness condenser?
    I'm trying to connect a MISTerCade and a Raspberry Picade to the same Supergun for the sake of having something that I don't have to go fiddling with after I've loaded everything.

    Do you know of a way to safely use a neogeo mvs, cps2, and j-pac pc running groovymame with a 6 port jamma switcher (not picky about more than 3 ports)? The annoying thing is all 3 devices have slightly different kick harness needs. I thought about getting 3 cps2 kick harnesses and butchering two of them for mvs and j-pac since those don't have an official connector which be the easiest if I hook them up one at a time. Paradise has a blast city kit with the 10 pin connector so I could leave the buttons alone and only swap the kick harness end up to the 10 pin connector. I wondered about getting a 3 port vga switch and re-wiring 3 vga cables as kick harnesses but when you change games it would be difficult to time it right. I thought about splicing 3 kick harnesses into 1 and having that wired to my buttons but would the common ground cause issues with my systems that are not currently turned on. I'd hate for the boards to die since they are equipped with darksoft multi's.

    Helpful video.
    When wiring the kick harness to the extra buttons, you just have to connect the kick harness wires to the "new" buttons? Or you have to connect the ground wires etc. to the other 3 "old" buttons as well?

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  7 лет назад +1

      togovero a kick harness onky goes to the buttons which are not connect by the Jamma harness. you also need to connect the ground wire to those buttons.
      so for a street fighter game, Buttons 1, 2, and 3 are from the Jamma harness. buttons 4, 5, and 6 are from the kick harness.

    • @togovero
      @togovero 7 лет назад

      moomert1 so, kick harness wires+ground (from kick harness) to buttons 4, 5 and 6. Thank you very much

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  7 лет назад +1

      togovero that is only for a legit Capcom street fighter pcb. for the most part any Capcom 6 buttons fighter. each company has their own type of kick harness.

    I want to mod my 6 slot mvs with extra buttons so I can play Capcom fighters on my pandora's box 3. Do you know how I would do this? Obviously there's no way to attach a kick harness to the Pandoras box. Any ideas?

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  8 лет назад

      well first, the Neo Geo is not jamma. neither is the pandoras box. you need a MVS to Jamma adapter. then you need a Jamma to pandoras box adapter. the pandoras box adapter will come with a built in kick harness. look at my video regarding proper installation of a pandoras box 3

    • @superspecky4eyes
      @superspecky4eyes 8 лет назад

      Hey, thanks for the reply and I will look in to that. I have an mvs to jamma adapter hooked up already. It works perfectly for everything other than 6 button games. Appreciate the info.

  • @jaimeb.384
    @jaimeb.384 8 лет назад

    So essentially if you go PCB and don't want to emulate, you need a machine for CPS1 another for CPS2 another for MVS, and another for 3 or 4 players? Or chance the cables everytime you change the PCB?

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  8 лет назад

      Well technically now. cps1 cps2 3 player and 4 player games can all be used in the same cab. even mvs....As long as it's a single slot motherboard. All you would need to do is switch out the games as all those use JAMMA. The other route you can go is to make a multi jamma arcade cab. I made a video on how to do this.

    • @jaimeb.384
      @jaimeb.384 8 лет назад

      +moomert1 And how do you deal with teh kickharnesses? For exmaple if I am playing SSF2, I need standard kick harness (if I understood correctly that only has three wires coming from it), but if I change it Alien Vs Predator need 3p one, assuming jamma covers 1p and 2p, the kickharness will have to deal with 3p butons and joystick, almost 10 cables. I'm quite lost.
      Going to check that multijamma video now.

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  8 лет назад

      +Jaime B. what type of cab do you intend to use? a standard 2 player cab? or do you plan to use a 3 or 4 player cab?

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  8 лет назад

      +Jaime B. also, what games do you intend to play? keep in mind, ssf2t and alien vs predator, those two boards alone will cost you at least $300 to begin with....and that's considered the low end of pricing.

    Thank you for the info! but one question...
    you mentioned the pandora's box needs a kick harness.
    but i've noticed there's no port for a kick harness to be plugged in... or is there and i've just completely missed it... plan on buying one for my arcade in the somewhat near future and was kinda confused about that... thanks for your time!

    • @moomert1
      @moomert1  8 лет назад +1

      the pandoras box is not jamma. it's what I like to call Chinese jamma. you have one either rewire your harness or buy an adapter . the adapter comes with a kick harness and converts all wiring for you

    • @neetboss
      @neetboss 8 лет назад

      +moomert1 oh okay! Yeah I just rewatched too and noticed you said you need an adapter whoops. Do you happen to know the adapter I would need for a Pandora's box? I'm getting the v4 so I'm sure it'd be the same kind of kick harness as the one you used for the v2... Going to be hopefully hooking it all into a Rock II candy cab. Thanks so much for your help!
