The bass trombone is amazing

Why does this have only 121 likes??? This is the best live performance of a trombone ensemble I've ever heard.Bravo guys! You inspire me.

I love this!
does anyone know how to get this score ?
a pesar de no incluir ningún bandoneón, impecable interpretación
.
Buenos interpretes del trombone no necesitan el bandoneon a no ser que el autor de la pieza asi lo indicara.
Jorgen has a new horn?
Super mooi, very nice, its not easy to silently work with mutes !!
¡Preciosos sonidos! ^_^ Exciting interpretation
BRAVO !!! SUPER !!!
Bravo guys!!
euphonium solo n_n
It's Pierre Volders principal trombonist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra
Uhfff, Big pleasure to see once again "Oude Klasgenoten" making so a beautiful perfomance. Bravo! CCP
What’s the brand of the wooden cup mute the player next to Brandt is using?
Superb
why does the euphonium stand in the back when they solo??
Out of shame. It is a trombone ensemble.
He’s also the percussionist for the group
OMFG, heerlijk!
I don't know who the finest trombone soloist in the world is. I think Joseph Alessi is the most recorded, and he's a wonderful player - I love James Markey on bass or tenor, or on bass playing in the tenor range take your pick. I could name several more, and love so much about their playing, Francisco Molla, Peter Steiner, Martin Schiffens, if I try to keep this up I have to offend someone. But over and over I come back to Jorgen Von Rijen. I don't know if he's the best, but man... I'd be hard pressed to figure out who's better. And this ensemble rules supreme. Being an American, I'd love to see its equal or superior over here, but.... not seeing it. Piazzolla's music is great material for this type of ensemble. While I don't agree with the commenter that said the percussion is "only noise" I have to admit I'd love to hear this with a legit latin percussion section.
I think we have to realize that they are doing something right in The Netherlands. It is a very small country with many great trombone players. Brandt Attema who plays bass here has certainly increased his world stature since this was recorded also. I see names come up as teachers and mentors - Ben van Dijk, George Wiegel, Bart van Lier. My guess is that the Dutch have a very good education/support system for young trombone players. In the US, we crank out diplomas but then - "good luck trying to make a buck."
👏👏

how to buy this sheet music??
That's what I wanna know too... can't find it anywhere...
@@ANSIcode Steven Verhelst's website stevenverhelst.com sells his compositions and arrangements. Good stuff.
@@raymondfallon7429 Nice tip, therer seems to be a lot of sheet music on that website. However, I was till not able to find sheet music for this piece. The video is linked on the website but no sheet music as far as I can see. Did you check if they have it?
@@ANSIcode No, I'm sorry - I had never run into a piece that he wrote that wasn't there - tell you what - I sent him a comment on his site, and got a really neat personal email in response - he's as personable as he is musically brilliant. If you leave a comment, he may point you where you're looking.
can someone tell me who the bass bone is in this video.
Brandt Attema
+Maksim Pavlov thanks
+Maksim Pavlov yeah, thanks, dog
The fellow playing without a mute has a bass trombone (2 triggers); all other bones have only one trigger and can play an extended range of the tenor bone.

The percusson contributes only noise!
Olav Gundersen that's true! sad thing about that: the "percussionists" are in reality very excellent trombone players also.
No. You are wrong
Jorgen has a new horn?
