No one's going to GW these days because of pricing. Its supposed to be an affordable alternative to big store shopping and a lot of folks cant even afford GW anymore...and thats a shame. Salvation Army seems to be the better option for pricing in my area. Nice finds on the Brighton bags 😊
I agree ,but we don't have any salvation army stores here. In fact we have very few thrift stores ..even volunteers of America store has gotten ridiculous .
The mirrored fabric is from India. It is hand embroidered. Vintage pieces can sell for hundreds. You didn't give us a close view so it is hard to tell just what you had. Don't just shrug stuff off because you don't know about something. Look it up!!!
My wife’s parents had that family doghouse thing on their fridge. It was magnetic. If you were mad at some family member you would put them in the doghouse
Some yarn is worth a lot. It depends on the material and the ply and the quality. I wouldn't bother with acrylic, but wool can be expensive. To say you don't like yarn is like saying you don't like golf clubs. Yours didn't sell in the past because it was probably poor quality. Buying yarn requires knowledge, just like golf clubs do.
To clean that light, use a shirt ladder and a cheap Dollar store big paint brush to brush the dust off! Keep the cardboard for the brush and use it only for dusting things like this.
I'm in Gresham Oregon. Our Goodwills are packed with people. No set prices for shoes, hand bags or anything. Most T-shirts and tops are a minimum of $6.99. Most purses start at $9.99 or more. Shoes are at least $9.99.
I see more people checking their phones, and our Value Village is always busy but more so on the weekends! I think no matter where your shopping your not always going to find something.
The prices at my local Goodwill are getting a little high. Shoes and boots on the rack were about $8 - $20 already, and then they added a display by the register with cherry-picked shoes and boots for $20 - $50.
oh no, kayla!!! you are second place on purse duty!! better watch out, julian is movin’ in on the jewelry territory too!!! i remember when his specialty was coolers! 😉😁
love watching you 2, i snagged a vintage stain glass Coca Cola chess set today at the Goodwill in Beaufort SC. i swear is was the only one in it for the 1st hour it was opened! so weird.
not-to-be-a-downer, but do you think that some goodwill corporate no mind is a fan, and directed managers (in whatever district) that at least 2 staffers have a store enhanced app to see what prices for items are going for the secondary market...cuz' their prices sure have inflated somewhat...jes' sayin' ... keep on keepin' on ... !
Thanks So much for watching!!!!
Thanks for the videos
The English jacket is a waxed jacket and rainproof
I'm thinking that the mirrored fabric could be a prayer mat.

I vacuum my lights and lamps. For that light fixture, just use an extension pole duster an hour before vacuuming the floors.
The mirrored fabric piece is a ….. wall hanging made from recycled sari bits. It’s hand washable. Wall art.

It's a bohemian table cloth, with the mirrors. I have one. Pier one used to make them too. Other than that they are normally made in India

Our GW are small with empty shelves and racks. I rarely go to them.
The fabric with the mirrors is vintage and can sell very well .
That little bud vace could have been a talavera from Mexico
That decorated cloth is a table throw or you can use it for a wall hanger.
