She said she was getting a couple of hundred thousand views on videos. That could be bringing in enough ad revenue for it to be a full time job
From having worked marketing for a company who did influencer marketing, 1,500 is not a low ball at that number of views
I was watching one of breland's (formerly known as glittterforever17) vid, and the amount of money she said she/other YTers made blew my mind.
Important point: just as audiences can tell when a creator oversells a product they don't necessarily believe in for a sponsorship, we can also recognize that this is a job and ad revenue is not always reliable. I'm wayyy more willing to let iffy sponsorships slide for smaller creators trying to transition to content creation as a full-time job, especially for their first sponsorship. This only starts to become a real issue when creators scale up, move into luxury accomodations, and pretend that they're poor.

i ignore it a lot when its youtube creators who are tired of skirting the monetization line and just do whatever they want. you learn pretty quickly how many L presses it takes to skip them, and when they're super scripted i mean only dumb people fall for those anyway and if they fall for it on your video then they'd fall for it anywhere else, too, either way the content creator has to compromise for their content

I think it's more like that the hate for raid is wayyy stronger than the (non existent imo) hype for it. People see the ads on every gd channel and website so they start hating it.

So often RUclipsrs delete old videos and I get that from a "oh that isn't me" or there was something really wrong on the video. I think in this case, I'm glad you're not deleting /hiding it because it's effectively an irrelevant sponsorship and it's a learning process. Also you've got so many videos, I dunno if I can be bothered to dig haha

Subscription boxes are so wasteful. Just buy what you want instead of creating more trash to throw away later.
I personally think snack subscription boxes could be a good way to find new things you like but stuff like clothes/makeup/beauty products seems kinda wasteful/inefficient cuz I feel like they’re things you need to get specifically for yourself

I think not directly but when you read between the lines you know. If you look back she stopped using simply peel when she she started working on holo taco. I guess it was planned from the start that she would come out with her own liquid latex and therefore stopped promoting another brand.
