Solidworks Surfacing with boundary surface by using extruded surfaces and 3D sketch splines

Review how to make complex boundary surfaces in Solidworks by extruding the profile, trimming each surface from the top, connecting with 3D sketch splines and finally building the surface using a boundary surface. The extruded surfaces are just used to create the boundary. This method lets you have maximum control over complex surfacing.

2:07 Good to know. Sometimes, I use loft or boundary without any guide curves and it comes out perfect with just the edge condition(normal to sketch). So, now I don't mind taking my time to use [composite curve] to join all the segments.

Very nice and quick. The "taught" way is to surface loft with multiple sketch planes.

This is how I build all of my compound surfaces, it's super efficient and easy to edit.
