These Ultra SFF PCs are a much better values than current 2023 Chromeboxes. I run flex on my old Dell C2Q Q8200 4g ram. It runs just fine. 👍
Agreed, if you don't care about Android apps (and I don't), there is no reason to get an official Chromebox.

Actually chrome os doesnt boost your fps,it decreases it because it only use 1 core of the cpu
If you get a chance, I would be curious to know the Octane 2 and/or Speedometer2 benchmarks on that PC with the Chrome browser with ChomeOS Flex :)

I wish Google would just "certify" the whole Steam on Chromebook thing just for ChromeOS Flex, especially given how good proton is these days for gaming on Linux

The "official" steam for chromebook is not available on Flex. @joeanderson1755 is right though, they should just enable it. I think Google could probably snatch away some windows and mac users if Steam was easily installable with a single click.
You don't really need this.. use geforce now - even pick up a subscription to microsofts PC game pass while you're at it.. stream everything.. was playing starfield earlier streamed through gf now and it worked brilliantly.. boring game, but hey..

I too have an m900 tiny with 16gb ram a 512gb nvme and an intel wifi 6 / bt 5.2 fully supported (the ngf intel ax 200) I do almost 99% of my computing use online, from all my AI stuff, email, music, office docs - everything.. works great.
Mine is the i5 6700t
