I am an 80-year-old, and have used rollers of various types off and on my whole life. Years and years ago, there were little pieces of paper available that you could use to put around each bit of hair to protect from the roller. You'd need a clip or a hairpin to secure each curler. Those little papers are gone now, so I use a piece of toilet paper, which works nicely. With this protection, your hair doesn't get damaged. It's hard to explain, and easier if you can simply demonstrate. I've been around so long that I can even remember the pincurl, circled around your finger and secured snug against the head with a bobbypin or two. Put a scarf around your head, and you can easily sleep through the night.
just beautiful. My mother is 93 and wanted her hair shampooed and set so we called several salons and was told they no longer have hair rollers if we wanted it we had to bring our own. I was stunned.
Gosh, we are stunned too! A hair salon without rollers, doesn’t make sense, very disappointing! We really hope your mum managed to get her hair done and was pleased with the result. Thank you for your feedback and for watching, we appreciate it. Say hello to your mum from us! X x x

I just got my set from Amazon. This is the first time using them. I found them very easy to use. Normally I used foam rollers but I had to sleep with them. I left them in while I was getting ready for the day. They are very light and comfortable. When I took them out I was very happy with the results. Not much curl but a lot of volume and shine too. If you are debating whether you should get these, you really should. I think you will be glad you did❤😊 Thanks for your tutorial.
No matter what your age, wet-setting fine hair, sitting under a hairdryer and drying completely will give fine hair the BEST, LONG LASTING FULLNESS. I’ve been using this method for years.
Thank you for this tutorial. The dryer is like one I have and I had the experience you had with it. Finally a tutorial without the over the top drama that I have seen in other videos.
So pleased to hear that, we love them too! Yes it would be great to be offered both options. Thank you for your feedback and for watching, we appreciate it. X x x
I tried them and then gave them away as they were pulling out too much of my hair no matter how gently I tried to take them out. I now use huge sponge rollers or just the Diane snap on rollers. Her hair came out lovely tho !

For the best results on long thick hair, blow dry the hair first, then roll it. And then you don’t need a heat hood, just leave them in for an hour or more. The hand dryer could overheat and cause a fire like that. Be careful.
Yes that is a lovely way to achieve volume and curl after blow drying. The hood is great if you just need to dry damp hair quickly. Thank you for watching. x x x
I tend to prefer brush rollers i have really limp longer straight hair hana dbrish rollers give more of a wave of curl and they tend to dry better plus of they get hard to get out, i pull out the brush part before removing the roller

We love them too! please ensure that you brush/comb each section carefully prior to using the roller, then remove slowly, supporting the hair as you go. Thank you. xx

I had bought a 4 pack of "thermal" rollers a long time ago and never used until recently. I liked them and wanted more but finding the "thermal" ones isn't easy. (I'm not into ordering). Tbh thought I needed the thermal ones but learned it's not necessary. I'm not as good at the sectioning tho. I have found tho they sometimes get caught up in the hair trying to remove them? Saw another comment saying that as well. I do make sure the hair is perfectly smooth. Just bought more today tho so going to see what happens. Lol.
Some women find that applying a lightweight hair serum on mid lengths and ends, helps with the removal of the roller, especially if their hair is quite dry or frizzy. Its really important to ensure the hair is very smooth prior to rollering, a comb rather than a brush helps with this. Please remember to support the hair when unwinding from the roller. Practise really does make perfect! We would love to know how you get on with your new rollers. Thank you for watching, we appreciate it. X X

My hair is fine and limp. Velcro rollers tend to make it frizz. I enjoy watching the tutorials online but find no matter what techniques I use, the ends 'fuzz.'
The trick is to over direct to get a root lift and ensure roller sits firmly on the root. Whenever i want extra volume i use extra rollers! We hope this helps. X X
