    Hey, topics for WPH14 end here right? I think I've covered WPH14 through your playlists. It would be great if you could post the WPH15 topics completely as well before the exams in June as I am a private candidate and the only source for Physics is your channel. Also it would be amazing if you could arrange all the core practicals (WPH16) in one playlist to make things easier.
    Thanks alot for the help throughout the year.
    Cheers Mate,
    Have a good one.

      All the core pracs are in a Playlist called 'Working as a Physicist' - I figured people would need them as a group! I'll double check again that they're all in there.
      WP14 is Further Mechs (done), Electric and Mag Fields (nearly done), and Nuclear & Particles (upcoming).
      WP15 is Thermo (done), Nuc Decay (done), Oscillations (upcoming) and Astro (upcoming).
      Or so I understand from the IAL spec - I teach home A-level so IAL exam admin is less familiar although the spec content is the same, apart from a few extra things in the home A-level.
      qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/International%20Advanced%20Level/Physics/2018/Specification%20and%20Sample%20Assessment/9781446957783_IAL_Physics_Iss3.pdf (page 9&10)
      You, and those like you, are exactly why I started the channel! So I'm so please you're finding it useful. They will all be done for June. At this point, I'm trying to have all second year topics done by the end of April.

      @@nutshellphy Oscillations "coming up"? I already see a playlist that covers everything in the specification for the topic.

      Really? I only have the core practical in there... haven't done anything about the equations, graphs, resonance etc.

      how do you know that peak is towards the middle

    • @nutshellphy
      @nutshellphy  2 года назад +5

      That comes from knowing that visible light is about 300-700 nm on the EM spectrum. So if you get an answer of around 500, it’s bang in the middle.
