thank you I was really looking for the explanation ... I have my A2 IAL this june .. this vids really helps me Alot. I would really appreciate if you covered the whole Astrophysics and explain a bit about resonance.
Great video, a lot of content in such a small period of time, very concise. Maybe do a video or two on the magnitude of stars, the Big Bang theory (the evidence) and the detection of binary stars, quasars and exoplanets. Thank you!
Thanks for this, needed a quick catch up sort of summary for mock tomorrow... I found all telescope and the life cycle of a star diagram, couldn’t find the rest, so very helpful
@@ScienceShorts Its more about finding out how the universe evolves on a large scale not really about going to mars. Going to mars is more of an engineering and economical problem and also we don't have that dick measuring contest of US and USSR anymore so the technology to get to mars isn't being developed as fast as it should be.
@@ScienceShorts In a way you're right. But then again how has knowing quarks exist benefited mankind or something. Physics is simply the exploration of the universe from small scale to large scale. Maybe all this knowledge is useless maybe it's gonna be theorectical for a long time then get used in some way. Like non-euclidian geometry was for a long time until einstein finally found a use for it.
@@ScienceShorts it has Indirectly benefitted mankind. The need for better and more precise technology and other feats of engineering that we use for many things is in some cases driven by physicists doing what was seemingly irrelevant at the time.
A Supernova only happens to a (Red/ Blue) Super Giant Star, not to our Sun, since its much smaller. Also after a Supernova, a Neutron Star OR Black Hole is formed (depending on the solar mass of the Giant Star). Our sun would only become a white dwarf, after expelling its outer layers (in Red Giant phase). Hope that makes sense!
2:10 lucky we now have a photo of a black hole
Please may you cover the astrophysics subtopics for A level physics.
I have an a level astrophysics mock on Wednesday and this is gold
2:08 -- needs updating! ;)
They still technically haven't seen it ;)
@@ScienceShorts I agree with Mr. Rees. In fact, the photo itself, is 55 million years old.
was about to comment the same thing lol
@@mohammadmunzurulhaque3197 THATS CRAZY ;)
i was about to comment that

U R A LEGEND!! we just started astrophysics last week!!
thanks a lot sir...Please cover the remaining astrophysics topics.

April 2019: I don’t think you have the facilities for that big man.
Thanks for this, needed a quick catch up sort of summary for mock tomorrow... I found all telescope and the life cycle of a star diagram, couldn’t find the rest, so very helpful
Notification squad lol
Looking forward to this video I’m learning about this general topic👍
Great video, it helped me understand better
Stars spectral classes pleaseeee!!!
Can you do more astrophysics videos please. It's by far the hardest topic in physics
Thanks corona this is my new teacher
This is a very helpful video. Thank you :)
Can you make videos in which you go through A-level exam questions on different topics?
You read my mind! Coming soon 😊
Is there any other videos/playlists regarding A-levels Astrophysics ?
when can we expect the rest of your astrophysics videos?
One lightyear.
@@ScienceShorts cheeky
Science Shorts, can you please do edexcel AS and A2 physics past papers? Pleaseeeee! I have my exam this year May/June.
@@kyliek.9481 yeah I agree 100%
Cancelled anyways lol
'No one have ever seen a black hole'
I beg to differ.
Zyad Hesham stop begging
@@valarmorghulis209 ok :(

Zeeshhh 🐓
You seen one? Or have you seen a computer generated image.
Really helpful, thank you!
YAY my favorite topic
Dude we can't even get to Mars - what's the point in astrophysics?!

We know so much more about the universe than 100 years ago, and...what has it achieved? How has it benefitted mankind?

@scienceshorts can u do standard candles Method I don't understand it and really need help
Thank god u made this video
1.18 need to say it is in equilibrium
Thanks man!!

That's what I said...
Sir you were just months away from seeing a black hole
Hell of a lot of stuff for 14 mins great vid tho btw when are all of your a level physics kahoot live streams
5:09
Stars are included in AS?
Ibtaker Jabir No
Wait why am I watching this it’s Saturday
Yeah, I don't know why I made it on a Saturday either.
Oh, wait, I have no life, that's right.
Empire joshvir262 I don’t know why I’m watching it, I don’t even do a level physics 😂
Science Shorts lol welcome to the club :D
CodingWithOutBorders Online 😂
Empire joshvir262 I have an astrophysics mock on Monday :/
Did you delete the Kahoot revision video for electricity?
They won't be available after.
Hand writing to nice to be a scientist, who are you?
Can you please make a video on A level Communication.
we've seen a blackhole now
You forgot to add sunglasses to your sun, how else will we truly know what you have drawn IS the sun? smh, kids these days.
Meh ill watch the movie when it comes out
I'm so interested in space and stuff that i'm now learning a level astrophysics when im only in year 10 secondary school! :L
If you want to do it at A level, make sure the course covers it because its an option. e.g the course may do medical instead of Astro.
