This film was actually great. Sure it is not as amazing as Caesar’s trilogy, but the team really put their best effort and gave us a promising continuation. Plus, the ending does make me intrigued to see where it goes next.
Another fantastic Entry in the franchise Jay Vaters. I felt this same way in 2019 when it first was brought up by multiple big named critics, also at comic con. Kingdom planet of the apes is awesome brilliant storytelling, action set pieces, Character development and solid ending.
@@JayVaters true but they do a lot on exploring the world, and maybe do some things that the 60 and 70s did, besides having alien humans worshipping a nuclear bomb.
@@JayVatersyeah i find it hard to rank them because they are all great. Thinking about it now I might put the 1968 film slightly over Rise of the Planet of the Apes but both are great.

Fantastic film
It surprised me but in a good way
It’s a good film that didn’t need to happen but I’m glad it does exist
Andy Serkis' Caesar is easily the best movie character of the 2010s.
I agree
Jay, have you seen not another church movie 😂
I hear they are planning 5 more movies.
Interesting to see where it goes.
Little too many

With Kingdom the ending almost made me tear up. And I don't usually cry during movies. That is how much this film is Oscar worthy.
Thoughts On The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Season 2 Trailer?
My favourite is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Love that movie. Then War, the Rise and then the original 1968 film.
Fair ranking
@@chasehedges6775 thank you.

“The humans are boring in this.”
Freya Allen is ok, IMO. William H Macy was wasted tho
Very wasted
The Andy Sirkis Trilogy was awesome and this was decent
I wasn’t worried that it would ruin the previous trilogy because it is set in a completely different time.
It’s set 300 years after War, to be exact
It’s not a necessary film but it’s good
Freya Allen as Mae
