Random thought but it'd be really cool if Super Sonic's grinding animation had him nonchalantly crossing his arms like what he does in the Genesis games while teetering over a ledge
I haven't worked with custom animations, but that's a cool idea, and I will definitely consider it for a config option if I can find or make something decent.

Flying around the Open Zones is so satisfying.
it would be better if you could airboost multiple times, but I agree.
At least with this mod, you aren’t forced to bump into those goofy floating platforms like you do when running

@@Eldoofus I looked into methods to enable that, but it doesn't seem like a method has been found so far. We know how to reassign which moves you can combo into each other, but this method doesn't work when applied to the air boost.
This should be added to the base game after beating the entire game or if you 100% the islands
considering they're gonna be adding a new challenge mode to the game I'm hopeful they'll add it as a reward for S ranking them all or something

So you're the one who made this mod, I had already tested it and I have to tell you that it's magnificent, you must have had a huge headache doing this mod, congratulations, I give you the award for best character mod!
I remember when I once talked about how having Super Sonic play EXACTLY like this in the open world could've been an amazing idea for this game,but unfortunately they didn't probably have time to add this feature,which makes me sad,but at least we still have mods to make up for it
Also,I know some people were disappointed about Hyper not coming back in this game,but think about it:
The End DID say we haven't seen the last of it,and Sage talked about Super Sonic not being enough to stop it,so not all hope is lost!
We have dlc that will be releasing through 2022 and 2023
The end is definitely a villain worth bring Hyper back for. Especially since the Super Emeralds got added back to canon with confirmation that they're residing in a different dimension.

@@xiswarmin It was in a quick fire interview with Iizuka and its on the wiki. Hyper is canon now at the least, which means it could return and the END being stronger than Solaris (a foe beaten by 3 super hedgehogs though technically due to being in the past present and future they had to fight against it individually) and Super Sonic at full power means that Hyper has a semi-realistic chance at returning. That, or they decide to go balls to the wall and give more super forms to other characters to join a big fight.

I love the design interpretation of Hyper Sonic where he appears to be white, but if you look closely you can see the colors of the chaos emeralds illuminating from him. A lot better than the seizure inducing one from Sonic 3.
Thanks for the compliment on the design! Actually, there're three layers, white, blue and purple. I guess depending on the situation they blend together in different ways, lol.

@@r1can79 Honestly, I think you're partially right. I still need to work out a couple quirks, but once they're ironed out, he should look even better. I might also try the rainbow aura just to see how it looks, if I like it, make it a config option and decide if it becomes the default based on user feedback.

@Kewels96 dude no, trust me, i know it looks weird, but changing cutscene animations Is a thing that takes a life time to do, It would rather be faster if you worked on improving the gameplay like sonic leaving trail when he runs or flies instead its not that hard right? Right?
Fishing as Super Sonic is the most effective way, apparently, to catch big prizes lol.

Seeing this made me realize the best way for Hyper Sonic to look in a modern 3D game. In the classic games, Hyper Sonic is pretty much Super Sonic but with the various colors of the Chaos Emeralds flashing as his fur color. For modern games, he should have the white fur like we've always been depicting but his aura should be the one that has the mix of all the colors of the Chaos Emeralds. I think that would make for a very clean looking Hyper Sonic design.
Definitely better than the seizure inducing classic version.
Hyper Sonic looks so clean in the boss fight of the mod.

@@KewelsBri a bit of criticsm, i think his boots and gloves should glow like the rest of his body (hyper sonic). it looks weird in some parts cause it doesnt, vanilla super sonic has that glow.
@@darkind Yeah, the focus for the update was to get Hyper Sonic in and fix the bugs that stopped Super Sonic mods from working with my mod. A couple colors were changed as tests to see if those fixes were working, but given there's a large amount of files that controls these effect colors, I decided it was still a big enough update to push it out with it being stable and all. So I'm planning on fixing it, I just haven't been able to get around to it yet. Thanks for the feedback!
One more thing, can you make him have the same aura he has during the boss fights in the open world?

I'm still unconsolably salty, even bitter that you can't turn Super Sonic outside of bosses - being able to do combos-into-Super would've been so stylish to do, and flying around the Starfall Islands at blazing speed would've been so thrilling. I still pray it comes in an update, but I think that we'll have to wait a while until a mod makes it a reality
Someone is actually making a mod that _does_ enable Super Sonic in the open world, transformation and all. I have to admit that while it's cool to see, I have concerns about how playable it'll be once it's out.
I do feel like we'll get an official update with Super Sonic at some point, just maybe not until the story DLC comes out about a year from now.

for anyone who wants to know
To fly you have to turn on custom physics from the config. then jump and boost. For hedgehogmanager the config is the gear near the mod

I wish they added the aura thing you get when u boost just like the ones in unleashed and generation. Its with that thing that i always felt the speed im going, i hope they make a mod for that too.
If your referring to the boost trail , you can have it permanently if you max Sonics speed
@@r1can79 I actually have the boost trail set to appear regardless of how many rings you have. The aura while boosting only appears with max rings, though

@@r1can79 I'm talking about the aura that briefly plays in addition to the boost trails once you start moving. Like, the little specs of yellow that seem similar to Super Sonic's proper aura that surrounds him in boss fights.

Because the game never explains why Sonic knows that the last emerald is with Giganto, he just knows somehow.
So it would've been cool to see him actually make that guess.

Imagine if in cutscenes where he runs normally, he would float. We need the entire game like this and before climbing Giganto, he would fly down.
We also need the emeralds to be remodelled to the super ones.
I actually had an idea like that. What if the Super Emeralds can't be used because they transferred all of their energy into the form of orbs scattered around some islands, and Sonic needs to find those to turn Hyper Sonic again. It'd be a neat game for sure.

This is a pretty good mod. The thing I noticed was the mouth being stuck on his right side when it tends to shift depending on what side you look at him from. Including even Hyper Sonic is what gives a thumbs up for me. Sega has something interesting there and they’re forgetting it.
I fixed it a few days ago in the latest update. If you haven't already, either use the mod loader or download the update from GB.

Here my kind of wishlist for new content for sonic frontier.
Free roam super sonic is definitely up there. It would make exploring the islands extremely cool and imagine if you could fly to these island as well extremely cool.
Bosses replay with added difficulty. It way too easy to beat these bosses especially when you are fully max out. I want to actually feel challenge when I fight them.
new boss fight. I was disappointed when I saw the last mini game and it was just fighting a moon. Maybe this could be a secret boss battle or something when you beat all of the old bosses on max difficulty.
Idk they are suggestion I like the sound of them but a lot of effort would have to be put in what most likely will end up to be DLC.
