Celeste Cortesi was my bet last year to win Miss Universe 2022. She was a total package and drop dead gorgeous. I was rooting for her and sadly she didn't make it to the finals. All love from Brazil

I didn't know her before but when I saw her MUP prelims I knew she will win. And so far, sya pa din best pasarela for me.

Philippines has a huge fanbase and this fanbase expend a lot of money just to suppport their candidates, that is why its not a surprise if MU will tend to put the lights on Ph more often on its social media platform to get back what MU lost.

Tsaka kung mag aask ka nang kung ano naiambag ko, yes I have contribution I am a pageant fan since 2011 bumibili ako nang ticket to attend events, to watch live coronation and gumagastos ako for voting. Di mo alam yung heartbreak ko kay Celeste kaya kung pakikialaman mo pati pag express ko nang galit ko sa Org lumayas ka dito baka sayo ko ilabas lahat ng galit ko.

Celeste was not the predicted winner if u r not a Filipino fan, u will see the truth. And the possibility of winning the fifth crown for the Philippines was pretty impossible at this time. I do believe that Cat and Pia raised the bar so high for the Philippines sash at MU. They still impress the judges if the next girl needs the crown, she must wow the panel of judges in another feeling that differentiates from those prior Pinoy queens.

I am from India and I think if Laos deserve top 16 in 2022 miss universe so Philippines definitely deserve top 16 .
unfourtunately she simply underperformed and she may have failed interview. Laos had a better performance and a decent interview.
Laos probably did well in the closed door interview.
Laos was a vote choice. And if we gonna judge based on laos then alot of girls were more derseving than her and Philippines such as mexico,thailand,veitnam,panama…
Celeste was underwhelming to the point of being like an unbaked cookie dough compared to her predecessors, she lacked the eloquence and relatability of Catriona as well as the stage presence and wits of Pia. She's facially beautiful but that ends there, she lacks the fluency in English and Filipino due to her growing up most of her life in Italy. She moved to the Philippines only in 2018 for the sole reason of joining beauty pageants, so she's basically an overseas/diaspora Filipino who's pretty much Italian with unripe understanding of the essence of being a Filipina. She's far from being the embodiment of a true Filipina since she barely made the effort of immersing herself with Filipino culture unlike Catriona. That alone made her unrelatable to the Filipino people, and her low proficiency of the country's official languages (English and Filipino) made it worse as she rarely appeared on national tv for talk show guestings or interviews. She only appeared once before flying to New Orleans, and in that interview you can still hear how her voice shakes for some reason. That might give you an idea on how unprepared she was when it comes to interviews. She's pretty but beauty is not enough to be a Miss Philippines. Being a Miss Philippines means you have to embody the essence of Filipino identity and culture and be an ambassador of that identity, something she does not embody at all, since she's pretty much Italian except her mother's genes.
Laos deserve it as has a asian blood I'm so happy for Laos & India yes sad for Philippines & Thailand as well for Vietnam & Indonesia but they are toxic the fans are toxic

Objectively, Bea went the farthest from all the PH candidates after Catriona in 2018. Bea isn't the most beautiful of them all, but she got it all right to advance to the Top 5. Michelle Marquez Dee needs to study the footprints of Bea and converts this winning formula on her own. Again, MMD wasn't the most beautiful during the MUPH Coronation Night, but she has the X-Factor to outwit the rest. This will be your adventure, MMD! Do what you can! It is time for someone with courage and with a degree in psychology who is a proud member of LGBT to win MU. MMD raises awareness about autism too, don't forget.

So far, MUP Org's representatives have been "hit or miss", and only Bea has been a "hit" compared to BBP representatives.
MUP 2019 should have gone to Patch. The BB judges chose her to go to MI.
MUP 2020 - if Rabiya had a better costume and evening gown, she would have gone far at MU
MUP 2021 - Bea did well. Not disappointed and deserved top 5.
MUP 2022 - Celeste lost that spark in MU. Those gowns she wore were disappointing. Michelle would have been the better choice. It’s just that during the MUP coronation night, Celeste stood out.
MUP 2023 - this is Michelle’s/Pauline’s chance to shine to represent PH. If the title goes to someone else, then i’m not sure if she’ll place at MU.

Si Beatrice lang sapat na. Isa sa reason kung bakit sya nakapasok because of her back story ( military and LGBTQ). So sana mag hanap ang MUP ng ganun.
Having a backstory like that is actually so cool! An LGBTQ woman while being in the male-dominated military is such a progressive story due to the fact that military as a system around the world is still somewhat homophobic. It breaks boundaries for sure!
