Thanks! It was kind of overwhelming down on ground level. The "diamond ring" effect was very quick and we were in daylight before we realized we needed to put the protective glasses back on.
Too cool! I saw your videos after @Geoffr524 put them on his playlist. Yup, I was one of drone operators outside the museum that day. I did six flights around the museum before, during, and after totality. (None of the post-totality videos are shown here) I was the guy in the white squirrel shirt hanging out with the elementary school science teacher on the hillside. Used a strainer and some crackers to make crescent-shaped shadows for little kids to see. So glad you had a camera that could point upwards. I was so busy looking at those two solar prominences that I put the drone controller and smartphone down for all of totality. No pictures for me, just memories.
This Drone video is truly amazing, and there are even people in the distance launching fireworks during TOTALITY. I would love to share a PLAYLIST of videos taken on April 8, 2024 at the "Armstrong Air & Space Museum" ruclips.net/p/PLzyW1nApA3r8iU0TyJ9SVztY4vod02--N Would love to see the View count of this view skyrocket, and other videos taken that day at the Museum.
What a nice video! I especially liked it when the light "suddenly" came back, after being on the horizon the whole time.

I was there! I think i saw your drone flying around. It was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen!

Great video! Thanks for posting. We were right by you on the hill! 🙂
@jaleegolden So cool! The whole experience was incredible. Glad you got to see it from the best spot in Ohio!

I saw this drone!
Too cool! It was a spectacular day to fly. There were half a dozen drone operators out there, including myself.
One thing I can say, thank goodness we didn't suffer a too prolonged eclipse by way of certain mushi.
I'll confess this reference has gone over my head. The only Mushi I can think of is a professional DOTA2 player.
@@Macavity116 From the anime Mushi-shi, particularly its first OVA. Highly recommend it, sir!
