Great video. Thanks mate. Always easier when you can watch someone else do it first before you go and break all the fasteners like I'm fond of doing.
Haha, no worries I'm glad that I can help :)
thanks mate, its always good to watch the master first. After watching I realized I removed things that necessarily did not need to be removed
No worries at all, thanks for watching, its always good to check your not wasting time or going to break something. Please remember to like the video and check out some of my others on the falcon. Ross
Thanks for this video, just used this to figure out how to access the bulbs to change the brake light in my Falcon.
No worries at all thanks for watching and your comment, I have made a few videos on the Falcon now. Ross
Thanks bro, very straight forward. Appreciate the help learning this one finally, this is much easier than the headlights 😂
Cheers Tom and no worries at all.
Thanks mate, very helpful. Backed into an Amarok yesterday and smashed up one of the rear light clusters. The job looks like a piece of cake but I'm not looking forward to the cost of the new unit!
Should be able to find one at a wreckers?
@@RossPerryProductions Had considered that but I enquired at a Ford dealer this morning and price wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I'm a bit fussy so decided to get a brand spanking new one.
thank you, still helping in 2023
no worries at all, I'm glad it helped. Ross

Need to change the front and rear indicator globe for my BF F6 Typhoon. Only the side one's good atm. The EF's used to just pretty much pop out..easy as to change. I love the 'Phoon but man... nothing's easy or cheap to replace 😔
Hi Nellie, sounds like a pain!! Sorry I haven't made videos on that yet. Ross
What a beast you got though
Legend! Thank you!
Bonita Langeberg no worries at all
Good work brother. Thanks.
no worries buddy, glad I could help, Still have access to the XR6 let me know if there is anything you need a hand with and ill try and look into it. Ross
RossPerry Productions Hey mate. If you've got the xr6 around I'd be interested in a video on how the towbar mounts and where the wiring harness fits for it. There isn't a single video on RUclips for the installation and I got my xr6 second hand without a factory towbar. Thanks again. And double thanks if you make a video for it.
thanks
No worries Philip, please remember to give the thumbs up and subscribe.
g'day there mate, if it's not too much you reckon you could do a tutorial on changing a tail light socket?
Hi there, which socket are you referring to?
RossPerry Productions The brake light one.
Hey, sorry do you mean the brake light in the spoiler, or the socket that is part of the wiring harness?
RossPerry Productions apart of the wiring harness
I will try and get hold of the car this weekend if I can, if its the socket itself you could always re-terminate the cables with crimp connectors individually, I will have a look but the harness could be cabled all the way back to the fuse box at the front of the car. Ross
Hardest part is putting the alligning the red part back in
yes, can be fiddly
hey do you know which led bulb i need for the reverse light and reverse indicators?
Hi Asad, unfortunately I no longer have access to the car, but the bulb types will be in the owners manual. Regards
Unfortunately you didn't show how to change mid rear window stop lamp. Mine failed WOF and I bought replacement from Repco but wedge will not stay in housing. Its a12V 18W W2x15d they sold me. I tried to twist it in but it's 'awkward' for me... It won't just pop into place.....
HI There Ray, My apologies, if I work on one of these again I will check it out and make a video, for now I don't have access. The 12V 18W W2x15d is a peanut bulb that should just push in and not twist, however the carrier will often twist lock into the light. Sorry I cannot be of more help.
Got it sorted now thanks
Is an Fg brake light system the same as a bf? I need to change bulbs, just wanna make sure im changing the right one
Hi There Stephanie, I have not actually worked on a BF, however I would imagine they are very similar if I was you I would take the cluster out and then test the lights to find out which ones out/blown, then you can take the actual bulb to the shop or buy online using the code on the side of the bulb.
Very handy to know
Thanks for the comment Joe
Hey guys, would anyone know what size is the reverse light bulb is ?
I think its a 16W peanut bulb
Forgot to mention its a BF2 Fairmont.
Will be a bit different to get to, but the same unit no doubt.
