I'd love to know what your husband thinks and the process he has been through because I tend to worry about my future partner and encase I was still sick. Maybe something similar to what your sister did :)
I don't have a carer but my mum helps with childcare so I can't ask her to do anymore than that. I know i need a carer. So I find myself neglected. My doc gave me no help but antidepressant. The cfs specialist is miles away and too unwell to get to even my endo appointments! from the m.e cause I'm housebound. Really getting me down now. All happened since the loss of my fiance unexpectedly then my body gave up. Any advice would be appreciated. 1 half year having me and fibro pain. Met a new partner he's understanding but I can't ask him to care for me we don't live together x
Have you had an official diagnosis? If so you should be able to claim for disability living allowance ( it's got a new name now) this little bit of extra money could help you get someone to come and help you with care or housework whatever you need. My advice would be get someone to help you fill out the form as the questions are designed to catch you out. Your situation sounds tricky, are your family and friends understanding? Getting into a routine can help too as well as taking coq10 enzyme. These are all things I have done... do you feel like the antidepressants are working? I hope my videos help. Living with ME my doc gave me the diagnosis by blood testing and the fact I had become so bad in a year. My blood came back normal. I worry that no further tests have been done. Did u have many other tests done? With the exertion and having to stop after even walking up stairs or bathing etc. I've known it's m.e for a while. I just thought May be I'd have a scan or something to conform it's nothing else. Because the bloods are ok they dont really do anything else. My breathing is awful on bad days yet doc won't give me a breathing test because I had one a year ago( when I wasn't as disabled.)
Wow that is tricky, unfortunately blood tests often do come back normal, and that is so frustrating and often why Drs tend to go down the road of it's in your head etc. The best thing to do would be to apply for support anyway, they ask lots of questions, tell them as much as possible, like difficulty climbing stairs etc. You can also get someone to help you with the forms as they are designed to catch you out. I have done several videos on form filling, hope you find them helpful.
