I really love this beanie and neck warmer! And I made it big enough so my husband can wear it as well! I can see that it will make a cute child's hat. Can't wait to start on the next one! Thanks!
I really like this 2 in 1 hat!! TY! I, like you am very impatient, so I followed your tutorial and finished this up in a jiffy. I love the versatility, fit and look!
Thank you for sharing this Project! I just finished it. It was easier than I had thought it would be. Oh MYYY,,,, DO I LOVE THIS. It is getting cold here now, and this is just perfect and fashionable.
I just completed this project for my mom-in-law's birthday gift. I absolutely LOVE it. My favorite part was learning the i-cord (eye-cord?). Cant wait to use that again. If not for your fantastic video instruction I would have never figured it out. Thank you for all of your clear and simple tutorials. I watch them whenever possible.
of all the tutorials on YouTubbe, yours is by far THE BEST and easiest to follow (and i've searched all tutorials) so thank you for your amazing projects and vids! keep up the great work!!
I've never even heard of an I chord, so I learned something new. This will come in so much more handy than a magircle. Plus, this hat looks so much nicer. Am getting ready to start this hat now! Thanks so much!
very nice I will be making some of these for sure you are the best thank you so much I have dyslexia and cant read the patterns so the video 's are so good for me
@Mekare55 I find the best way to wash items I've made is to gently hand wash them in a bucket or sink with mild washing detergent (or even better, wool wash). Rinse in clean water then squeeze excess water out of the item before laying it flat (in it's original shape) on a thick towel in a sunny spot
Auch wenn ich kaum englische Wörter vertsehen kann, learning by doing. Und noch eines ich hatte eine Freude an den immer super schönen lackierten Fingernägeln =)
Oh my days, how awesome is this, it's really easy to make and I'm making some for Christmas. Thank you so much for sharing and taking your time to help others to crochet. I actually learned to crochet a couple of years ago by watching your vids, so a very big thank you to you and have a wonderful Christmas, you'll defo be warm ;)
Hello Heather C Thank you so much for supporting my videos over the years, thank you for watching this video and I hope you have a awesome Christmas and new years :)
You're very welcome, I love you're style of teaching and the way you share the wildlife in your 'garden' with us. Have an ACE Christmas and let next year be filled with blessings for you :)
thank you for sharing and guess what? think I made it too big and will have to try again to make it smaller. lol Love to learn from you. sincerely yours, Kelley :-D
@nlhrocks345 So glad you liked the video ! Love grey for your colour choice and what a great idea for gathering the top :O) any chance you can share a video responce or a photo?
to make a seed stitch you make a double crochet in one stitch and then a single crochet into the next stitch. you repeat this for the entire row. when you turn you will be making a single crochet where the double crochet is and a double crochet into the single crochet. you repeat these steps for your entire project
What I've been using for ties is the Navajo Knitting technique by Lucy Neatby. It's a weaver's technique where a single skein of yarn is tripled and the crochet cord that I chain from this is very thick.
Hi!! It awesome your tutorial *o* . I wanna ask you, how it's the best way to wash the wool accesories, like the neck warmer /hat that you made already. THANKS!!
@Stephy27Pooh If you dont want the beanie to be a neck warmer, just a beanie you can use a running stitch at the top. You make as many rows as you need to make it wide enough to wrap around your head. I show you in the video when i am wrapping it around my head :) Depending on the yarn that you are using if it is thick or thin will depend on how many rows hope that helped you
When you use two colors, sometimes it is hard to do it. Do you have an answer on how to do the cord two with different colors, Please show me do it the right way when I am taking the two off with out getting them tangled.
+Michele Hunt - Mcclary THe only advice I can think of i treating the 2 yarns as one, the 2 colours will twist around each other, but that is ok, you will never be able to keep them separate :)
Trata de seguir las imagenes y crea tu propia version del modelo, lo importante es empezar, aunque te equivoques terminaras dominandolo a tu propio estilo.

¡Eres maravillosa! You are awesome! Saludos desde México. Greetings from México.
Can you do this with two yarns? I am learning how to crochet and your videos are awesome. Thank you!!
what a great idea!
I find the chain then slip stitch back the length of it is MUCH simpler than an I cord :) BUT it was fun learning a new skill.
I find it so much more easier and quicker using 2 double ended knitting needles when making the I chord.
Thank you for showing this.. I was looking on how to do those cording.. :)
Wow seems to be complicated but very interesting 1
Thank You !

If you are using two strands of yarn how many balls of each colour yarn would you need?
Hi, 100 grams or 3.5 oz of each colour will be plenty :)
When you use two colors, sometimes it is hard to do it. Do you have an answer on how to do the cord two with different colors, Please show me do it the right way when I am taking the two off with out getting them tangled.
