- Our trip to Bridlington over new year’s 2021/22. A walk into Bridlington with lots of memories for Rick who used to holiday here as a child, we appreciate this video might not be gripping or entertaining for all but we remind you these vlogs are primarily our personal diary and memories, we’re happy so many of you choose to come along with us so bear with us if occasionally some are a bit self indulgent!

The sun shines on the righteous alright. It’s very overcast where you are. You’ve got a hell of a memory there mate. Watched it through. Would have loved to see you have a go on the teacups. Give the audience what they want big fella. Teacups teacups teacups. (I’m chanting that by the way) Looks like a decent beach. My dogs love a good beach. Thanks for sharing the trip. 👍🏻

Thanks for the mammeries (sorry memories) Rick and Heather, brings back a few memories for me as we used to holiday just up the coast in Scarborough ,so we usually popped into Brid for a day trip, and I remember the wee fun fair and the prom.
It was nice to get back, it had been a while 👍
We Like the sea in the winter. Site was really close. Perfect beach for pooches and walking. Nice place to visit as a child. Bet you really enjoyed seeing your old holiday haunt. Great the clocks were still there! The Rialto! Really loved this vlog. Reminded us of our holidays by the sea as kids too. Different locations same idea. Midnight on the beach. Great idea. Awesome guys. 🤣😊🧙♂️
It certainly opened up the grey matter 😂 but it was nice to go back, nicer new year than a packed pub trying to remember Auld Lang Syne 😂
@@RickandHeather yeah I liked your beach cork popping idea. Nice to to do something different on NewYear. I have something going around my mind from Newyears past but no way could I tell you 🤔. That area is not somewhere I have ever been. We are more Southcoast and Cornwall/ Devon people. So nice to hear about the history of your visits. Thanks for the vlog. Good to watch. 🙏🍻🥂🍾🚐 🌊 🧙♂️G

Nice video - can’t for the life of me remember if I have ever been to Bridlington, often used to go and visit a friend of my mums at Easington down the coast from there when I was a young lad (many moons ago) - Thank you, David 👍

Nice to have a walk down memory Lane how times have changed sadly some not for the better in the world I can remember going on a boat called the Yorkshire Belle or was that from Scarborough harbour lovely way to spend New Year’s Eve look forward to the next one

Thank you for the video. We are booked into a campsite near Flambourgh Head for our Yorkshire Tour later in the year. We are planning to take the bikes to Bridlington for the day. I have never heard the term Tombstoning before. Take care Gill

Hi Heather, Rick, nice video of Brid, as you said on our RUclips Channel, we were just down the road from you guys at Flamborough Head and thanks again for your nice comments. We have visited Brid a few times and we really enjoy the visit, infact we enjoy all the seaside towns, especially on the East Coast, one of which was Seaham, recommended by Travelling from Scratch, Steve, Ewa & Olivia
The east coast is good for us (higher up) as we have good A1 motorway links 👍

Great video, we are off to Blackpool later this year for a concert and I expect I will be doing similar as went every year as kids. Chris. There is a good wild spot at Bracey Bridge near Brid and an excellent butty van run by a lovely couple.
