just installed one but getting an error message on the dash now saying "hill holding error". If i disconnect the HUD it goes away, has anyone else experienced this? Its on a 2020 fiat Ducato

Great van, love the width of the kitchen area, and the separate sink cooker. With a microwave, or decent solar and battery, to run a little Ninja pressure multi-cooker. Going away for weekends, weeks in the spring or autumn it would be easy to cook properly. To save money for more petrol= further a field trips, and more wine & cheese.

Why do you think the law should be revised on the pedaling assist function on bikes that don’t require much torque to run the motor? What would be the danger in that? Isn’t the pedal assist required just so that it is instinctive how to stop the motor -> stop pedaling?

Thanks for video. I've always had the same reservations as you regarding accumulation of debris in the recesses behind the mud flap. And also damaging the paint on the arch But I'm beginning to consider fitting the front ones as our van is white🤦‍♂️😂

Brilliant! I loved this, thanks for the second video. I go to the new Lidel in Ipswich which before it was built is where Andy finds the Roman mosaic. It's now a Lidel car park. I make independent films, and I've decided to shoot my new film around where you went last time where the oak tree is. I'm going to try and get permission to shoot a scene around that oak, I would just love to have it in the new Surreal Images. I made a film 40 years ago called Surreal Images which the BBC liked and showed clips of in a documentary they were making called Video Active. It's on RUclips, I think it's part 5 called Effective Illusions, you see me recreating how I shot some of the scenes. I love Detectorists too, I watch it often on Netflix and the special on BBC iPlayer. I'll have to get it all on blu ray, as they are bound to remove it eventually. To activate the throttle function, and remove the speed restriction (on private land!) - - When the display is turned on, press and hold the "+ & -" button at the same time for 3 seconds to enter the setting interface. After releasing the "+ & -" button, press and hold the "+" button for 15 seconds to release the 6km accelerator limit and the 25km/h speed limit." Do the same to reverse the function back to stock.

An older rider too, now into my second year riding this bike. its my only transport so wanted something tough and reliable, its been a fantastic and comfortable ride even over longer (30+) mile journeys with full panniers and an additional large capacity battery to make sure I never run out of juice. Worth every penny, cant wait to go bikepackimng on mine.

Does this connect to mobile. So you can see capacity remotely

Ive got the same model ..bought it 2 years ago £1100 and have used it for around 50 hours in my campervan..now it wont even stay on for 5 seconds given it has 70% charge ..tried to reset it many ways ..its out of the 12 month warranty ..its very expensive and now its gathering dust !!! I wouldn't buy another

I've had mine for a few months now and thoroughly enjoying it. Two months ago I swapped over the hydraulic brake tubes to give our standard of front brake on the right reear on the left. Makes sense if one rides more than one bike to avoid confusion. I've also fitted indicators which had been a great help in traffic. I also fitted my Hornit horn from my previous ebike, it's loud, very loud, recommend it. Made rubber mud flaps to extend the mudguards which has been a help on wet and muddy grounds.

I've just bought some universal ones for my Boxer and was wondering how the rears would fit as there's hardly any body to screw them to. This video has helped me no end, cheers.

Watching a number of channels I do sometimes wonder if it is the break away or the vlog opportunity that drives people to be away in their vans. Also I can't help feeling that some get their kicks from the apparent mild celebrity status that some feel the may have achieved. Anyway, we like your vlogs and I appreciate your taste in beer. Really appreciated the vlog on replacing the truma gas/electric with diesel/electric. I'm not a gas fan. Good luck.

Hi Rick and Heather. Happy New Year. We enjoy your videos but understand why you need a break. Mull is a brilliant destination. May and early June is probably one of the best times to go before the midge season starts. Fionnphort and Iona are a must as well as Calgary Bay on the west coast. I would recommend returning via Tobermory to Kilchoan onto Ardnamurchan and then travelling up Arising and Sunnyside Croft Caravan site. Poppy would love the white sandy beaches and the views over to Rum, Eigg and Skye are unbelievable

Thanks for all your hard work, think is definitely time to chill and look after yourself, didn't realise you tube were nagging everyone, so enjoy relax and I'm waiting for the next video when you are ready. Xx

We fell in love with Mull this year. Hoping to go back in the Spring. It was lovely to meet you guys this year. Our YT has taken over a bit. Sometimes it feels like work and I didn’t enjoy work! Missed my Saturday upload as we’re away so then editing in the van into the evening is a bit crazy. We do sometimes go down the thumbnail route but keep it honest when we have hit a problem. Enjoy your break Rick you deserve it, we have noticed over the last few months certain vloggers using more click bait and to be honest we have unsubscribed from them when we discovered it was only a minor issue blown out of all proportion. It seems that you tube just puts people like yourself under unnecessary pressure to increase their revenue from ads etc. keep it real as you do and just enjoy yourselves. 😊
