I am either getting this or the new V-STROM 800 RE. The price right now for this is unbeatable
8k was such a great price for the tiger 660 with bags. I liked the 800 but for the money they are asking the tiger 660 is so much better value for the money in my opinion

@@MotorcycleDemoRiders But for the theme of the Tiger sport - she is a touring cruiser style - so "I" don't need to have it loud(er) like a racer style, that most like the loudness. And then changing out the entire exhaust system? but they forget that the stock systems are tuned for the best performance of the bike / in this case the tiger. But then you have to remap the computer and set stuff for the new pipes which now - not having the O2 - does change the engine performance a bit, and the added HP that peeps think they have to have? Not really ever going to notice an appreciable change, unless you change gearing, and most dont ride their bikes at max RPm for the peak HP. So i see it as pointless. I thinks its just a macho thing, to change out the pipes as if people will Be impressed and think your bike is faster?? faster than what? faster than you will or would go with the stock pipe, that is giving you the best 'designed' performance. anyway..
I'm with you in the sense of the theme for this bike in particular. I still feel it's the best all-around commuter bike I've ridden all year. Sometimes that is true about wanting to showoff and have that look at me factor. Sometimes I just want to hear the engine more than most stock pipes allow on most bikes now.
No right or wrong in this conversation to be honest. Your points are totally valid, and I can appreciate all the things that go into changing the exhaust system entails. I wouldn't change it on this bike honestly but that doesn't mean I can't wish it was lol.

For me this bike is a one of the best commuter bikes I've ridden. As I indicated in the video this is the Triumph Trident with Plastics. Its got good wind protection and has the panniers option for storage. Even though it has the Tiger Name I wouldn't classify this as an Adventure Bike at all. Its a Daily Rider and for $9,695 new it provides a very comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable ride while giving enough power to enjoy a spirited ride when you want to push it.

Same price as Mt-09. Which would you buy?
Depends, as a commuter and a fun weekend bike then the Tiger Sport 660 but for the power I would go with the MT-09. However if I am going with the MT-09 because I want the power, I would just by the 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R which is possibly the best street bike I've ever ridden.
