However, the attempt shown in this video (the one where I actually succeeded in getting an S-Rank) was done during the daytime, so I couldn't really see anything on my screen too well! My intentions were to get a little practice in before I started playing for real later that evening, but ended up beating the challenge anyway when I wasn't expecting! 😆
Thats insane, but its also relatable. Failing over and over when you re trying your hardest and somehow winning when you re just playing casually to practise. It happens to me as well
@@sharkfan2 yes.. teddies no clipping through the ground and seeing you from below lmao. But since the map tablet texture is above the maze in zone 3 the teddies dont fall on it and they endlessly fall in the void. Which is why this bug for the most part doesnt work in zone 3.
What a tremendous achievement this was! I considered this level to be impossible without powers at first, but this definitely shows that it is indeed possible to complete with an S Rank even. My biggest congrats to you, Sharkfan2! Seeing what astonishing accomplishments you have done in all the different Dark Deception levels, I'd love to see what approach you'll go for in Torment Therapy, if you plan to play it that is. I did it with Teleport Only and with Map, but I'm very much certain that you could do it even more extreme than that. I'm also a fan of commentating your progress and process through the various different levels, your strategies and tips. Torment Therapy really is tormenting though, I can guarantee you that.

Dark Deception: Map Master VIII. “WHERE ARE ALL THESE BEARS COMING FROM?” (Serious note) This is SERIOUSLY impressive. This level is long, hard and that is with powers. To do this with no powers, no tablet AND get an S-Rank is just ASTOUNDING. Insane to see just how much people improve at games the longer they have no content updates with them. I've nodeathsranked this level without tablet and telekinesis and it's already insanely hard to me and took me about one month's intermittent time.But you finished it even without any power!I don't know what I could say to express my appreciation and worship.
My experience is the hardest part in my no tablet challenge is stucked by some steps in zone 3 when being chased by trigger teddy and the uncertainty of trigger teddys' location also caused by this bug.

This is what makes Zone 3 so much more difficult than Zone 2 in my opinion, because you cannot manipulate the movement of the teddies as easily. In Zone 3, I was eventually able to memorise where I could get stuck on the steps, and sometimes use them to my advantage against the teddies, such as the steps here 49:05. Anyway, thank you! 🙂 S-Ranking this level without the map, no telekinesis, and no deaths is a very impressive feat!

There are 3 teddies holding a Ring Piece in total. The first 2 teddies that you manage to explode will always hold fake Ring Pieces, and the last one will always hold the real Ring Piece. I hope that makes sense. 🙂

@@foundcrab4742 I was pretty close to giving up, but I just kept trying and was slowly getting better at it and learning how to deal with the enemies better. If the teddies were faster than the player, then I probably would've given up.
Did you mention that you managed to beat it, S-Rank without powers or the tablet? Were you able to record it or anything? I'd love to see how it's even possible. 🙂 Zone 1 is an actual nightmare. Zone 2 doesn't seem as bad because the nurses aren't very good at moving to the upper platforms.
at 22:15 is the blind spot considered an exploit or is it a legitimate strategy? Also I know that if move far enough away from the hole mama bear is attacking from using her hand that you can avoid mama bears attack is this an exploit or again a legitimate strategy as it feels like an exploit. Just curious as I've been trying to S rank bearly buried and the first bossfight has been giving me a lot issues for some reason. If you got any tips on this boss fight that would definitely be appreciated
The blind spot I showed in my video is a bit of an exploit, but I don't consider it cheating. Moving far enough away from Mama Bear's hands when she attacks is definitely not an exploit. That's how you're meant to do it. There's another blind spot which happens when you get really close to the hand, but I didn't exploit this in the video. As for tips, I'd recommend Primal Fearing the Trigger Teddy which spawns during the 2nd phase. For the 3rd phase, Primal Fear the 1st teddy which spawns, use Vanish if the 2nd one spawns while Primal Fear is still on cooldown, and then hopefully Primal Fear will be off cooldown once Vanish runs out. Don't Primal Fear the teddies as soon as they spawn otherwise you'll cause a softlock. It's a pretty luck-based boss. Sometimes a Trigger Teddy will spawn right on top of you, and sometimes during the 3rd phase the 2nd teddy will spawn right after the 1st, which can put you in a really bad position if you just used Primal Fear for the 1st teddy. it might help to get a spare rock during the 1st phase of the boss so you can destroy a Trigger Teddy without needing Primal Fear. I hope that helps. 🙂
@@sharkfan2 ok maybe i missed that teddy (its sad taht there isnt way to get them without Primal) there could be some bug where u can get them without using primal like... when around place where u jump they could glitch and in that split second u could click the mand get shard... maybe (just an idea but sadly its not in game and u have to use PF)

I generally delete my failed attempts to save disk space, but I save clips if anything interesting happens. The 50v1 Manor Challenge is the only instance so far where I decided to save clips of all of my failed attempts.

With the bugs? Would you mind to explaining me that? If this was a bug or not (Plus i know this video been release 29th august 2022)
I can answer this. It's because I spent over an hour in the level. The timer in the results screen can't display hours, although the game still internally processes hours when considering S-Ranks.

so its possible to beat BB with only 5 primals, 1 boost, 4 teleports and 3 tablet uses for swaps while none of them could give u big advantage and are LITERALLY to progress game casue they are required... (for S Rank in some cases and besides that one speed boost but it might be impossible without that not sure) This is imo Hardest Challenge ANYONE did on Dark Deception History (maybe future Super Dark Deception Chapter 4 Levels might get close... some XXv1 Challenge or Chapter 5 but thats all i dont think Fangames are getting at this level) 39:12 so doing this Deathless is actually BIGGER difference than in other levels... maybe in future :) 42:43 its shame that this happened 3 times but at least if u do it deathless it will be BIG improvement to your Biggest Achievment (which is INHUMANE) besides this u hardly died in tabletless challenges and even if u rebeated it...
Maybe, but with my current knowledge, no. There are certain shards in Zone 3 which I need to get by dying, as that's the only way I know how currently. I think travelling clockwise around the zone could work, but I haven't really tried.

lol im not even sure if holiday horror (level 9) is gonna be even possible to do powerless because apparently the mannequins will be very fast to the point where you will have to upgrade your speed boost ? (pretty sure) AND there is gonna be A LOT OF MANNEQUINS (vince said that) but if it would be possible i'd expect you to be stealthy as hell as in torment therpay zone 1so good luck on chapter 5 lol!!!!!! 🥰😃😃
Bearly Buried alone is harder than all of the levels tbh, with the only exception being Mascot Mayhem due to the heavy RNG Zone 2 which Hangry dominates in

If you throw lots of rocks on the floor near the acid pits, when Mama Bear pokes her head out of it, the rocks might hit her. If the rocks manage to hit her 3 times in one go, you can defeat her from the very first phase! I demonstrate this in my 253 Bugs/Issues video. Yes, I demonstrate it in one of my Bugs/Issues video, but I'll try and explain it for you... First, you need to wait for at least 3 rocks to spawn before hitting Mama Bear. There's a blind spot you can use here 22:08. When you have enough rocks, place them all together in one of the corners where Mama Bear pokes her head out. After that, move away from that area, because Mama Bear won't do it if you're close. Then, all 3 rocks will hit her at once if you place them correctly, ending the boss fight instantly from the first phase. You can wait for more rocks to spawn if you want a better chance for this to work.

It was extremely hard; the hardest Dark Deception challenge I've managed to complete so far. It took a few months of attempts at least before I was finally able to complete it. Also, what I did here 5:25 isn't too hard to do. You should try for yourself. 🙂
I hate bearly buried because first you have all of your powers taken away speed boost and telepathy which you don’t even have until zone 3 and by the fact the stealth sequence is way more harder than the torment therapy stealth sequence and by the fact that you are forced to enter this level and by the fact that Bierce doesn’t speak in this level and there is a bug in mama bears 2 bossfight if you stand in a certain section her and the trigger teddies will not move meaning you have time to swap your powers to vanish and primal fear of you didn’t have them selected
You're in luck! My next video is going to be a tabletless challenge for a fan game! 🙂 I won't say which game it's going to be though. I'll keep that a mystery.
Yes, I do have a few suggestions which could help. The first part where you don't have any powers might be the hardest, because you cannot sprint at all or you will be killed by the sleeping teddies. There's only 1 teddy which is active, so you always need to listen/look for it (but listening for it is much better). In this video, I lured it over to me so I could get around it 1:09. The teddies have a short attention span, so that's why this can work. But you won't always be able to do this if the teddy is in a different part of the zone. If you hear or see the teddy on the left from where I was standing in the video. you should be able to just walk forwards straight away, although there's always a chance that the teddy will come around the corner and follow you from behind. When this happens, there's nothing you can do. For the next part where you have Invisibility, it's a lot easier because you can now sprint and abuse the new power which you have. I think there are 4 active teddies, and a good strategy is to lure at least 1 teddy into the corner like I did in my video 2:04. If you manage to lure 2, that's even better, as long as you don't die. Because you can move faster than the teddies here, another good strategy is to line them all up and get them to chase you from behind. This lets you easily get all of the shards as it prevents them from cutting you cut off. But honestly, the best and easiest strategy is to just abuse Invisibility. Just wait in a corner somewhere until the power recharges, and when you use it, be careful not to walk into any of the teddies as you're moving through One more thing, the teddies don't despawn after you collect all the shards. They can still kill you even during the Mama Bear jumpscare, so make sure none of them are close to you when you open that door. I hope this helps. 🙂

If I understand correctly, you fought and won every monster from his challenge without any powers as a true badass (Angela, Joy joy gang, british pirates and today Russian bears). So now with powers you'll be freaking Devil for them, and Doug'll destroy them in seconds.

No no, I've seen it too. In fact, when I first played Chapter 4 before it was patched, I'm pretty sure she could rotate in both directions.

Also I know that if move far enough away from the hole mama bear is attacking from using her hand that you can avoid mama bears attack is this an exploit or again a legitimate strategy as it feels like an exploit. Just curious as I've been trying to S rank bearly buried and the first bossfight has been giving me a lot issues for some reason. If you got any tips on this boss fight that would definitely be appreciated
The blind spot I showed in my video is a bit of an exploit, but I don't consider it cheating. Moving far enough away from Mama Bear's hands when she attacks is definitely not an exploit. That's how you're meant to do it.
There's another blind spot which happens when you get really close to the hand, but I didn't exploit this in the video.
As for tips, I'd recommend Primal Fearing the Trigger Teddy which spawns during the 2nd phase. For the 3rd phase, Primal Fear the 1st teddy which spawns, use Vanish if the 2nd one spawns while Primal Fear is still on cooldown, and then hopefully Primal Fear will be off cooldown once Vanish runs out.
Don't Primal Fear the teddies as soon as they spawn otherwise you'll cause a softlock.
It's a pretty luck-based boss. Sometimes a Trigger Teddy will spawn right on top of you, and sometimes during the 3rd phase the 2nd teddy will spawn right after the 1st, which can put you in a really bad position if you just used Primal Fear for the 1st teddy.
it might help to get a spare rock during the 1st phase of the boss so you can destroy a Trigger Teddy without needing Primal Fear.

In terms of my failed attempts, recordings of those don't exist anymore. I generally delete my failed attempts to save disk space, but I save clips if anything interesting happens. The 50v1 Manor Challenge is the only instance so far where I decided to save clips of all of my failed attempts.

With the bugs? Would you mind to explaining me that? If this was a bug or not (Plus i know this video been release 29th august 2022)
I can answer this.
It's because I spent over an hour in the level. The timer in the results screen can't display hours, although the game still internally processes hours when considering S-Ranks.

so its possible to beat BB with only 5 primals, 1 boost, 4 teleports and 3 tablet uses for swaps while none of them could give u big advantage and are LITERALLY to progress game casue they are required... (for S Rank in some cases and besides that one speed boost but it might be impossible without that not sure)
This is imo Hardest Challenge ANYONE did on Dark Deception History (maybe future Super Dark Deception Chapter 4 Levels might get close... some XXv1 Challenge or Chapter 5 but thats all i dont think Fangames are getting at this level)

I think travelling clockwise around the zone could work, but I haven't really tried.

If you throw lots of rocks on the floor near the acid pits, when Mama Bear pokes her head out of it, the rocks might hit her.
If the rocks manage to hit her 3 times in one go, you can defeat her from the very first phase!

Hey, do you now how to complete first boss fight easly? Maybe bug or glitch?
Yes, I demonstrate it in one of my Bugs/Issues video, but I'll try and explain it for you...
First, you need to wait for at least 3 rocks to spawn before hitting Mama Bear. There's a blind spot you can use here 22:08.
When you have enough rocks, place them all together in one of the corners where Mama Bear pokes her head out.
After that, move away from that area, because Mama Bear won't do it if you're close.
Then, all 3 rocks will hit her at once if you place them correctly, ending the boss fight instantly from the first phase.
You can wait for more rocks to spawn if you want a better chance for this to work.

It was extremely hard; the hardest Dark Deception challenge I've managed to complete so far. It took a few months of attempts at least before I was finally able to complete it.

I hate bearly buried because first you have all of your powers taken away speed boost and telepathy which you don’t even have until zone 3 and by the fact the stealth sequence is way more harder than the torment therapy stealth sequence and by the fact that you are forced to enter this level and by the fact that Bierce doesn’t speak in this level and there is a bug in mama bears 2 bossfight if you stand in a certain section her and the trigger teddies will not move meaning you have time to swap your powers to vanish and primal fear of you didn’t have them selected

Yes, I do have a few suggestions which could help.
The first part where you don't have any powers might be the hardest, because you cannot sprint at all or you will be killed by the sleeping teddies. There's only 1 teddy which is active, so you always need to listen/look for it (but listening for it is much better).
In this video, I lured it over to me so I could get around it 1:09. The teddies have a short attention span, so that's why this can work. But you won't always be able to do this if the teddy is in a different part of the zone. If you hear or see the teddy on the left from where I was standing in the video. you should be able to just walk forwards straight away, although there's always a chance that the teddy will come around the corner and follow you from behind. When this happens, there's nothing you can do.
For the next part where you have Invisibility, it's a lot easier because you can now sprint and abuse the new power which you have. I think there are 4 active teddies, and a good strategy is to lure at least 1 teddy into the corner like I did in my video 2:04. If you manage to lure 2, that's even better, as long as you don't die.
Because you can move faster than the teddies here, another good strategy is to line them all up and get them to chase you from behind. This lets you easily get all of the shards as it prevents them from cutting you cut off. But honestly, the best and easiest strategy is to just abuse Invisibility. Just wait in a corner somewhere until the power recharges, and when you use it, be careful not to walk into any of the teddies as you're moving through
One more thing, the teddies don't despawn after you collect all the shards. They can still kill you even during the Mama Bear jumpscare, so make sure none of them are close to you when you open that door.

If I understand correctly, you fought and won every monster from his challenge without any powers as a true badass (Angela, Joy joy gang, british pirates and today Russian bears).
