Thank you. 🙂 I'm not sure if this could be considered a "longplay" since it's mostly just me yapping about the challenge rather than showing off gameplay, but it is still quite a long video nonetheless.
I really love your content and commentary a lot, can’t wait to see your gameplay at chapter 5 (both normal gameplay and no power challenges if it possible) 😊!
Your ability to dissect and analyze the fibers of this game are astounding. How GE have not brought you on for playtesting baffles me. Bravisimo! I'm interested to see how the finale and the Ch1-4 rework will effect this challenge. Do you plan to touch back on prior stages when that third take comes before Chapter 5? Speaking of, how do you think the Red Stalkers and the Puppet King will behave in game? I think they're the enemies with the most available information on their behavior. I have my own ideas but I'm curious to hear your speculation, given your in-depth understanding of the game's mechanics and variables.
Thank you! I appreciate it! 🙂 I'm planning on waiting it out before drawing any solid conclusions about whether or not I'll re-attempt these challenges for the Ch1-4 rework, but I think it's likely that I will, because based on what I've seen so far, significant changes have been made, such as new improved models for the enemies. I've actually read the Malak Archives recently, so that's given me and the rest of the community a better idea on what their mechanic is. So, we know Puppet King turns white, lifeless mannequins into Red Stalkers, and is able to make them change shape and form. We've also heard that the Red Stalkers are fast, crazy enemies, and that there are many different types of them, each having their own attributes. I'm not sure how Puppet King will behave exactly, like whether he'll patrol around looking for the player, or he'll have some other means of detecting the player, but I think it's safe to assume that when he does find you, he will bring forth his army of mannequins and let them do his bidding.
So you've read the book as well? Glad to see we're on the same page. I was thinking the Red Stalkers would be state machines acting as a fusion of the Clown Gremlins and the Dread Duckies. There would be some roaming ones (akin to roaming Duckies) that would never stop, and some pods of white ones scattered about. These would be docile unless provoked (like Duckies). If the player (or Puppet King) would enter their assigned proximity, they would wake up and give chase. Each pod would alert each member to the player's location (as Clown Gremlins do), and turn white after losing the player. I'm unsure which Red Stalker does what, but my money's on the females charging at high speeds. I'm sure more variants we don't know about will be introduced/replaced for later zones. Puppet King could be a slower enemy that rarely catches the player himself. He would periodically use his puppet strings to stun the player until they break free (which gets hairy when paired with him spawning more mannequins). I agree that staying out of his sight would be a good strat (although it would be hard to avoid his line of sight in an open mall). And for the fusion? I feel that might be saved for a boss encounter. Boss 1 could be a Red Stalker centipede thing, and boss 2 would be Puppet King himself. Apologies for the long read, but it's interesting to hear your thoughts on the matter. Thanks for the speedy reply. Holiday Horror's gonna be interesting! Hope you have a good rest of your day.
Nice video man, I'm excited for chapter 5, but when the enhanced plus for CH 1-4 comes out, you'll try again to see if it's still possible to do this challenge, because Vince said the AI will change a bit and probably some exploits will be fixed.
Yeah, when I was first hearing about enhanced plus, I thought it would only have small, visual changes. It seems like it's going to be making many more changes now. It's very possible I will try these challenges again for the enhanced plus update, but I guess we'll see.
@@sharkfan2 understand, about chapter 5, if some level is too hard to pass, I think you could use the stun orb, because you are already doing a super hard challenge of not using powers, so the stun orb won't hurt 😂, of course, only if you want to use. You already close to 5k of subscribe, congratilations.
Yeah, I'll definitely be checking out SDD Chapter 2's levels to see if they'll be possible or not. I'm dreading it a little. 😅 I've gotten good at this game because I've played it a lot. I have over 1000 hours of play time at this point.
I've already got a playlist full of them. If I just attached all videos together and just make 1 video out of it, that wouldn't really offer anything new in my opinion. I have considered doing a full tabletless playthrough from the very start of the game to the end in a single run, but even I have my limits. lol
Not something that really changes the difficulty of the levels, but an additional considerion for DD > MB is that MM is a much shorter level to complete. If you're grinding attempts, it's going to be easier to keep attempting the quicker one than the longer one.
@@Luigifan4ever11 Really? I thought Mascot Mayhem was bigger than Deadly Decadence, or at least just slightly. Did you mean Crazy Carnevil by any chance?
@@hugojasonutomo3309 I’m always here, reading comments and sharing community posts and such. 🙂 That’s just how my upload schedule seems to be working so far.
@@Blooodygood I probably won’t do that because I have playlist and I think that works just fine. On the topic of that though, I have considered doing a full, new game playthrough without powers or the map, and if I fail, I start all over again from the beginning. That would be like the ultimate challenge.
I am glad that there are still some dedicated fans for DD. It has been so long since chapter 4 that I had almost feared that the fandom was dead.
Look how lacking of chap 5 did to this person 😢
I can’t express just how much your videos mean to me, thank you for continuing to make amazing content
I love all your tabletless videos; they've really helped me beat these levels. Thank you for consistently taking on these challenges Sharkfan❤❤❤
Apparently, chapter 5 is going to double the length of DD. Good luck whenever it comes out beating it without powers!
hi sharkfan2
edit: thank you for hearting, you're great
thank you, you're great
I’ve been waiting for this‼️ can’t wait to watch🙌
I love these longplay videos of you doing challenges like this, they're perfect for watching while I eat. Great video, my fellow shark enjoyer. :]
Thank you. 🙂

Yknow, I never realized how amazing the chase music is for Monkey Business. I figured it'd be one of the easier no power run maps.
I can see the amount of pain this person had to endure to achieve this. ❤❤❤

Have you thought about a voice reveal or using text to speech?
Chapter 5 is going to be a nightmare lol
Oh yeah. I expect Chapter 5 to be a pain in the butt for this challenge

I don't see why not. 👍
I'm not sure when I'd start making it though...
Possibly after Chapter 3. 🤔
yoo thats crazyy
How dare youtube recommended me this 4 hours late??? (It didn't even notify even though i got the bell on)
I have been stuck on the agatha boss fight lol i keep use speed boost before she starts chasing me so i always get caught 😂
good challenge,i think you can challenge retail rampage with no any skills right?
I don't know about that. 😅
I think that could actually be impossible.
Oh come on i thought you were gonna played all these levels without T/P for walkthrough gameplay

feels weird to know dark deception is 10 years old now (not the steam one, of course)
What is the soundtrack you used in the beginning??
I used one of Dark Deception's cut tracks found here: ruclips.net/video/i1Gh87vLIk4/видео.html
Would you ever do same type of vid for fangames?
Probably not an entire review video like this one, but never say never.

A. You’ve already done this or
B. You don’t care enough
