Get rid of teflon pans. Forget the cost.
    Get rid of tupperware.
    Write it off.

500°F in a pan? Good luck with that. 300 - 400°F should really be enough in almost all cases.
And honestly, at 500°F it doesn't matter anymore what kind of pan you're using. Chances of creating unhealthy compounds are higher independent of the type of pan.
PTFE is a chemically highly inert compound. As long as you're treating the covering cautiously - avoid metal and other very hard material with sharp edges for working the goods in the pan - I can't see a reason for deeming it unsafe of unhealthy.

300 in a pan? Ur mental. 300 is even cold for an oven. Stove tops can easily get over 400 bud, dunno what Kool aid you been sipping on

make sure to cook on high, use metal utensils to scrape the pan and always take big deep breaths over the stovetop. Ya, you will show those tinfoil hats, Jeffrey 🤏🏻🧠🧑‍🦽🧑‍🦽🧑‍🦽👍🏼
