only a couple of days ago i plotted my 250 route on gpx from home up to allenheads, overnight stop in berwick, and back the next day, a total of around 430 miles. not sure exactly when as i want to run in my new bike first but hoping to do it in a month or so when i get good chance of a couple of decent days, but i won't be doing kielder forest drive this time, the bike aint really suitable for it. cheers.
@@upnorthbikerahh thanks for the reply and kind thoughts. i've spent a lifetime mainly cycling around the north and now motorbiking, i know a few of the 250 roads reasonably well and am looking forward to 2 day adventure seeing a lot of them in one go. GL
I could have had a McDonalds meal if I had a pound for every rider dressed head to toe in black and coming out of the winter low sun this year. Had I not been a biker I’d be one of those ‘Sorry Mate, didn’t see you’. Great little video, thanks but come on.
The car park just outside of the town over the bridge usually has space but I would not leave my bike there. Like you I tend to struggle and usually just drive through to somewhere else
Thanks for taking us along. Stunning countryside and quiet roads. Smoothly ridden too on those tricky surfaces.
Thanks for the feedback.
I've heard a rumour that one day it will stop raining!
Thanks for taking us with you.😊
Thanks for showing the lovely countryside and for bringing us on a great ride too.
Glad you liked it. The weather is better in part 2 which I am working on now.
I enjoyed watching this as I'm planning to do the Nland 250 in June, all being well. Look forward to the next one 👍🏻
Glad you liked it. Hopefully you will have better weather than I did. I can imagine those roads being fantastic when they are dry.
Doing this route in August. Hope I get better weather. Enjoyed that, Thanks. 👍👍🏍🏍
Hopefully yes as the roads will be great when they are dry. Will you do this over a couple of days?
No chance!
Enjoyed that Sir.... thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
Interesting i must say but not in that weather stay safe
