Fortunately I stumbled upon this video but unfortunately i watched the whole thing
Holy fuck lol this guy is saying "you're fucked if your alarm goes bad" !!! Fucking hilarious I'm dying...
i would like to thank you your video actually helped me out and it fixed my car problems
Made sense when you said; most factory alarms systems have a back-up battery. So, when you disconnect the negative at the Battery for more that 5-minutes, it a possibility that the back-up battery will drain. Thus, killing the Alarm System.
Even how unfortunate this video seems to be. Still, a nice shot bro.
Unfortunately everything's too difficult.
thanks for your help.
This happened to me and I was fortunate enough to find someone that did give us the exact way to stop the alarm. Very simple and effective instructions, so there ARE ways to do it.
disconnect battery, LOL
you sir are a qualified prat. I had to get another battery put it on my car lock and unlock it until it stopped keep in mind a low battery caused my alarm to go off in the first place.
Unfortunately I took a shot everytime he said unfortunate and now i need an ambulance.
Dont ask a mechanic he's got one of his hands on your wallet !!##
Unfortunately...
I had the same problem (The Alarm start going on with out any reason) with my Lexus ls460 - 2014 and i did the same and it was okay i believe so far. Thanks for the video (thumps up)
🤔 my face when the video ended...lol! 😂
Face still fine tho.. you coming clubbing tonight? Or nah
1:42.... and the ummms made me umm bail.
What did he even explain?
Just to be clear, we're talking about resetting a malfunctioning alarm that is going off for no apparent reason by disabling it? And based on your experience, disconnecting the negative lead for about 1 min (and then reattaching it) will clear the false alarm most of the time. But this will NOT work for (1) aftermarket alarms (like a Viper) or (2) an alarm of any kind that is so far gone that it needs to be repaired or replaced.
UNFORTUNATELY.....UM......UNFORTUNATELY.....UM......UNFORTUNATELY.
yeah.
it depends the radio, philips radios generally don´t lose memory stations.
Hey it's uncle Jessy!!!!!!!
Thanks for the video - worked for me!
What an unfortunate masterpiece.
My 98 eclipse wont turn on how can I disable it

on my truck year 1995 the radio does not lose its stations after weeks without a battery.
Where is the receiver for the factory entry/alarm on my 2005 Silverado? It seems to be top secret.
ummmm what tools did you used to removed the battery,,,,,ummmm unfortunately you dint say it
Hey i have the same problem with my 2002 Lexus es300. i still havent found a way to turn off the alarm. i believe i need one of those keyless remotes cause everytime i use my key to enter my car the alarm goes off and to stop it i have to start the engine. SO if you have found a way to fix it can you please tell me. thank you
A lot of alarms ive handled squeel the second you remove a battery terminal.
Does it have to the negative?
ty
Unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately. lol. How is it unfortunate that car alarms are hard to disable. This is fortunate not unfortunate lol.
Oiynk🐷🐖
My car just got broke in last night, it's a factory security alarm Honda Odyssey. I noticed the battery cap(red) was removed. I wonder it's just like what you said. I can't get the security alarm enable. Can anyone tell me how to do it?
My girlfriend has an '05 Nissan Altima. It's has starting problems. The mechanic believes it' s the Alarm system; that disables the ignition system? He says' by disabling the Alarm, it will allow the ignition spark? Your Thoughts? Thanks for posting and have a Great Day!
WHAT AN UNFORTUNATE MISFORTUNE!!!
Well i'm gona try it soon... and I am wondering if you all disconnected the NEGATIVE ONLY!!! and not both!!

Disabling the alarm your way disables the car, unfortunately! This video was no help at all.

this is always the remote or the override code that you can enter via the ignition switch.
i got a 2001 mitsubishi galant LS n im trying to disconnect my alarm, but i disconnect it from the battery n put in back on but it still coming on pls can some1 help me
he said unfortunately and unfortunate almost 10 times in 2 minutes lol
thanks. :-)
i thought that this video was very good, my alarm keeps going off and I was considering both disconnecting the horn and or removing the ignition wire that triggers the alarm. I didn't realise that by simply disconnecting the battery for several minutes would re-set the battery and save me loads of work. (Of course he repeats himself, unfortunately he has a minute to fill in between disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and unfortunately he's prone to an unfortunate repetitive habit :-)
UNFORTUNATELY
Oh my God. I think we all know how to remove a negative battery terminal now!!! 😅
you did this for your alarm or other one ? totall likely not working at all !
I actually counted, he said unfortunately 10 times :(
Hopefully, unfortunetly, ummm ahh ehhh this battery, disable uhh. 😂😂 unfortunetly I watched the video.Either way than you.
no help
This video blows! The video description was more helpful than watching you wrench a battery terminal.
Oh and you used the word unfortunately 10/11 times in about 2 1/2 minutes.
I would like to revoke his Master Mechanics license...
wow.
unfortunately this was no help at all. Get a Pin Saver and plug it into an outlet (cigarette lighter etc) it will save all settings such as radio etc.
pull the horn fuse
Nope. ASE Certified!
can u please tell me how to make the alarm more sencitive
You put your finger up you fadge and say Keith 18 times
Unfortunately there isn't a quick way to make the alarm sencitive.
This didn’t work for me
I really don't know why this is getting such bad feed back, he's just giving really general advice on disabling car alarms...
mine has been disconnected all morning and the damn alarm is still going off.
I see you left two or more doors open, alarm won't set....
that didn't work with my 1996 jeep
didnt really help me, unfortunately
how many joints did he smoke before recording this?
Unfortunately... I'm gonna have to thumbs down this video...
It got negative feedback because the guy kept explaining as if it can't be done anyway.
Unfortunatly
unfortunatly, its just easier to just pull out the flippin fuse end of becaue immobilisers are seperate
ummm unfortunat-umm-ly
Um. Um. Ok I guess that solves my um problem
WTF this video is B/S just pull your alarm fuse and disconnect your horn.💯
Is that pretty easy to do? I have a 2006 Saturn Vue with problem after problem. I got a new "used" motor put in, then the radiator needed repair, then the purge valve replaced because it wouldn't start after I filled the tank. And now, it honks randomly, sometimes in the middle of the night and when I drive it it honks here and there or when I steer to the left. Help!
I did that and my silent alarm went off and now my engine wont start...
it's easier to not get one for a junker that no one would steal if you gave them the keys..
His told me nothing.....
Fortunately you use unfortunately right before fortunately, unfortunately.
is he crazy to upload this
Unfortunately😴i didnt learn a thing
i know,,, why does he say it so many times?!
No help at all! Thanks for wasting my time!!!
Jeep grand Cherokee laredos limiteds rocky mountain editions Columbia editions special editions overlands

Unfortunatly!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to disable the entire alarm system in my Volvo 850... It's the original alarm, and it's been causing issues since 1996... I'll rip the entire fucking thing out of the car, and burn it!
can i just rip out the fucking fuse and leave it like that
We want to drive da car... why should we disconnect da battery? If u need girls attention u need weed. Lol
Unfortunately he shudnt hav bothered to make this video....
um, um. um. um, um
You say unfortunately alot
Wow, okay everyone skip the video, just disconnect your battery!
Unfortunately, I watched your video unfortunately. Unfortunately.
Real quick suggestion... with respect... as you post a lot of very helpful videos. The constant breaks in speech and then the "UMMM"... are horrid and horrible bad habits, and a huge turn-off to viewers. As well they act to discredit your message.
Seriously, try to break this habit. I am likely the only one with the balls to actually try to be helpful and tell you. Generally I'd bail... as do others. But I'm at the 36 second mark and it was already driving me nuts. Hope you appreciate what I am saying.
GotScout I didn't even notice it to tell you the truth, I don't think it was so bad that it was worth even mentioning, besides it's a you tube video of a guy giving free advice not a professional tech video from the manufacturer, The video helped me a lot, I hope he doesn't stop doing them because you gave him a complex.
My finance professor lowered our mark by a full letter grade for every 'um' or 'uh' we said during a presentation. Taught me a valuable speaking lesson that I wish everyone would learn. The absolute worst is when radio personalities do this. I can't listen to it. I just can't.
perhaps you should seek psychiatric help ?
@@mynewemail72 Ahhh, well, ok then, I'll ahh, ummmmm give it ahhh, a go!
My alarm goes off every 5 minutes when it is parked for no reason. I hate the son of a bitch!
+Alex Johnson Mine goes off 3-4 times a month....but never in the summer...shrug...
I did a trial and error and found two solutions:
1. Just don't lock your doors...cover up the red marks on the door lock indicators.
2. Before shutting off the car, turn ignition from 'start' to 'on', wait about 10 seconds, then turn the car off (my ignition order looks like this: Lock -> ACC -> ON -> Start)
Please post back if this helped, so others may benefit.
unfortunetly you said unfortunetly too much.... very unfortunate
nonsense
bullshit...
