I have to have my weekly chores on a schedule so that I can stay on top of them, and I don't feel overwhelmed with a huge task of getting everything done in one day. I do feel you momma, my husband works 6 days a week 3 jobs at that and Sundays are out family time, I'm also a SAHM with 3 boys and breastfeeding 😮😮, we have something in common lol. I clean almost everyday, I just need a schedule to keep up with everything lol I kinda need to fit in the dusting lol
Jenna Bubbles oh wow! Those 6days a week reminds me of when my husband was in the military! So it’s really nice to have a family day! And Omgsh dusting has to get done... but it gets so bad so quick it drives me nuts 😩
This Crazy Life yes he is L.E.O (law enforcement officer) so he always working and hardly ever home. And just got word that he is working tomorrow on our family day. I just got done dusting, mopping, sweeping you name both bottom and up stairs. This 5 bedroom house is no joke it takes me about 2 days to get the whole house done maybe 3 if I take breaks lol. I so need to be on a schedule to do a little bit everyday

The best tip I've ever had is from my grandmother. Use old pillow covers to clean windows, they never leave streaks because the weave of the fabric is so tight.

It has made such a difference for me to have an actual cleaning schedule 😊 and unfortunately we don't live near family, so we try and do sate night swaps with some family friends, but we definitely don't go out as often as we would like. Also right now my husband works very weird hours, so that makes it harder too... But that is a work in progress! Lol we do have at home dates when the boys go to bed quite often though 😉

was that a hemnes dresser i saw? i put one of those together two weeks ago. my husband and i got a new bedroom suit from ikea. we got the hemnes bed, dresser and nightstands. we love them!
My Warm Fuzzies I believe so! We got this set before our oldest son was born... gosh like 7 years ago I guess lol it’s lasted through 4 moves and 7 years... and 3 boys being crazy around it lol so it’s pretty durable 🙌 our nightstands were just a garage sale find, but the dresser and bed frame are ikea. We love ikea! I wish we had one near by! ... or maybe it’s best I don’t have one close or I would spend way too much! 😂
I’ve been wanting a steam mop but wasn’t sure if it was safe for wood floors... I’ve used a friends in the past and it got so hot & left the floor super wet ... is there a setting that makes it better for wood floors?
I’ve heard they aren’t good for wood floors, but I have used one for years on our laminate floors and it’s been fine. I just have the shark steam mop and it only has an on and off setting, but my floors are almost dry immediately and don’t leave them super wet

Hi! Do you have any tips on keeping the bathrooms smelling fresh? I'm a mother of 2 boys and I can't seem to keep the bathrooms smelling fresh no matter how much I clean
Diana Porras I hear ya!! I've had that problem as well.. I actually had someone tell me to put candles in the bathrooms, and it has been amazing!! Such a difference... If you go read the comments on my dollar tree haul (not the fall dollar tree haul... Just the regular one) that's where I got lots of tips on this issue! #thestruggleisreal 😂

It appears that you're using the same rag to wipe down everything... doesn't it just smear dust onto the next item?
Also, what kind of wipes or rags did u say you're using? I need alot of cleaning advice lol.... Your videos r giving me motivation to clean & organize.
I do but this was different days(different rags). And these were dollar tree rags, but now I use ecloths
@@ThisCrazyLife ok gotcha, I have a dog & it seems like debris sticks to the cloth & kinda gets everywhere. I've used baby wipes but then I end up using tons of them lol
Ahmose H oh yes! Baby wipes are awesome, but you would use so many with a full dusting lol I also do a dry dusting with the full circle reusable duster between full dusting a (with a spray & cloth)

hi! what brand is your steam mop? not because the handle broke but because you got a lot of use out of it and i would like to try one on my tile floor in the kitchen. also thanks for the dawn/vinegar mix - so much less expensive than premixed. thanks for sharing! ~k
karen jones oh yes I love that dawn/vinegar mixture! And my steam mop was the shark steam mop! I loved it so much! It still works now, but I will probably get a new one during the holidays when I find a good deal on one... Kohl's is where I got mine. If you can find a 30% off coupon to use in conjunction with a sale and kohl's cash you can get them for super inexpensive! I also love that you can clean with just water and use essential oils as I did if you want a nice scent 😊

Carlene Boulden thank you! I will definitely do more cleaning videos 😊 it's actually a split level, so just the upstairs and downstairs, and technically the foyer is its own level... But I would consider it just the two levels 😉

I didn't get a good look at what essential oil you put on the steam mop, which one did you use? Also, can you come clean my house? LOL. You have so much energy, I'm jealous! I think breastfeeding is zapping me of any and all energy I might have.
Simply Shasta Doterra oils are my favorite, and that one was lemon 😊I love using them when I steam mop bc it leaves such a good smell! ....and I completely know what you mean about breastfeeding 😂 I just stopped nursing my little guy about a month ago, and it's always such a bittersweet thing when you stop. It definitely takes a lot out of you! I think the biggest difference for me is I'm not Starving constantly lol

Cupcakes and Kickboxing when I just clean it each week, I usually just use an all purpose cleaner... In this video I used the Brandless cleaner, but I have been loving the cleaners I got from Grove Collaborative recently (you can watch my haul video if you're interested) and I've started using those to clean my oven and microwave. When I clean them every week, I don't have to scrub, so the everyday cleaners work really well!

Nancy Ragab thank you! we got our dresser and bed frame from Ikea several years ago... We love Ikea! All of our furniture from there has held up so well! And our nightstands were just thrifted from a yardsale... I just refinished those because they were painted bright red and gold when I purchased them 😉
