I am 6’ 4” and had trouble getting into the c7… I am amazed that you are able to squeeze yourself into it. Infuriating if you know the history of the vette and know the original design requirements were for a person over 6 feet tall. The reason is the executive who demanded that was 6’ 4” and could not fit in Ferraris so he wanted a world class sports car built for Americans by Americans.

Congrats on the new baby, as a new father myself (my daughter is 16 months old now), it's an incredible and rewarding experience being a dad and watching them grow. That said it is also incredibly stressful and a ton of work! I can relate to you letting the Z06 go, I have been struggling with whether or not to sell my 1996 Viper GTS. I love the car and it was a dream of mine when I was a kid, but I haven't driven it in 2 years and now that I have the 458 Italia, I'm not sure when I will even want to drive it again.

@@Burlacher thank you! They definitely look great next to each other in the garage, and I know if I were to sell the GTS I would regret it and be hard pressed to get another one like it. And best of luck balancing a full time career, RUclips and being a parent! I know it's a lot to balance, for me, my RUclips content generation has suffered a bit, but the way I look at it RUclips isn't paying the bills like my day job and I love spending every free moment I can with my daughter. The time flies, cherish every minute of it.

In our area I never use the 5-minute car wash. Not one of them have filters to reduce hard water spotting. So, nope, hand washing it is and I put a filter on the garden hose. Trust me with black paint its noticeable. Congratulations on the baby!!!

I just noticed something I was guilty of as well. A garage door opener in a car with programmable opener buttons.
I don't blame you. I have the same issues with that Corvette. The C8 has slightly more space, but it's pretty tight too. I'm interested to see what you replace it with.

I’m 6’4” 325 pounds and I had one just like yours same color same interior it was a 2015 3lz with 1 hard top and one glass top and a manual and I sold mine 2 years ago for the same reasons you’re selling yours and to this day I regret selling it. Just keep it and enjoy it every now and then. No telling what it would be worth 20 years from now it could probably pay for your kid education so look at it as a investment . I wish I would have.

First, congratulations on the baby! Second, if you liked the Z06, do like I did. I got sold my C6Z06 and got a Vector Blue CTS-V3. It's the Z06 motor but classy. It's a Z06 in a tuxedo.
Get a camaro, it would go best with the hellcat and gt350

I'm 6'6" and don't fit at all in a C7. My C6 ZO6 is the most comfortable car I own. I do fit in a C8. I had a 90 ZR1. I fit in it but it was so uncomfortable I only put 15,000 miles on it in 15 years. My 427 Cobra I've had since 1968 is a bit cramped but OK for long drives as long as it's not hot. I put almost 50,000 miles on it in the first 4 years while living in Southern California. So I understand your problem non fitting in cars.
