I've been blessed to see the Blue Angels twice! Both times at the Brunswick Naval Air Station in Brunswick Maine. The shows were phenomenal I especially loved watching Fat Albert on his short runway take off then on his short runway landing! Seeing a huge plane such as that take off in such a short distance with rocket assist and go straight vertical was mind blowing than same with such a short landing with rocket assist braking! Oh yeah and those crazy talented pilots and all their maneuvers and sonic boom fly bys!

It's funny you posted this today. The Blues are here in Wichita, KS for the airshow today and tomorrow. The last two days they were practicing. I've got a bunch of videos and pictures. My dad was an AF pilot. I'm ex AF and retired airline pilot. As much as I love the AF Thunderbirds, I will say I think the Blues are better.
You need to schedule a July vacation on Pensacola Beach, the Blue Angles are stationed here and do an amazing job. Reserve your hotel early. It's worth every penny.

Last year, I got to see the Blue Angeles and the Thunderbirds at the Point Mugu Air show.
